Giyuu had been fully deaf since the a demon attack that took his hearing. That same demon that took his big sister's life when she tried to protect him. The last thing Giyuu ever heard, was the agonising screams of his sister being beat up by the demon. Since then, Giyuu may have managed it by learning other ways of communicating, but it still pained him every single day. The fact that he couldn't bring his sister back.

The fact that he couldn't hear her ever again.

Giyuu POV:
I am mad that that master put me on a mission with Iguro. Out of all people, he probably hates me the most... But i couldn't refuse the master, and the mission shouldn't be too hard. Get to the location, find the demon, kill the demon and head back. Easy enough, right? - Just then, Iguro tapped my shoulder. "Hey, you, are you deaf or something?" I was used to reading his lips under the mask because he always insulted me. "I'm guessing you want food..." I could tell he was angry. I couldn't let him know i was actually deaf, it'll be to embarrassing for me. So i uttered my courage and nodded. "Not talking still? You're ridiculous." I read from Iguro's lips. Iguro always found a way to bother me. So we walk in silence to a nearby ramen stall, where I knew there might be an issue. Iguro wasn't going to eat as usual, but I felt a little dizzy, so I had no choice but to use my voice to talk to the man at the counter.
"Please cab I Havb 1 bowl ov ramen pleashe"
The man stared at me for a second, then just smiled. I hadn't practiced speaking much, so I just hoped i sounded somewhat ok. As I was paying Iguro pointed out my voice. "Gosh, you sound like a dying crow. No wonder you don't talk." His lips read. I got a little upset but i just kind of ignored his comment akwardly.

After eating Iguro and I set off to reach to demon hopefully by nightfall. I was running on a couple hours sleep, max, but Iguro was marching his way up the path like he was almost trying to run away from me.

"Oi! I'm talking to you." I read on Iguro's lips as he turned back at me with hatred. "Are your ears blocked or something? Hurry the fuck up, we won't get to the demon on time cause of you idiot." I just nodded and started speeding up because I didn't want any more trouble.

At last, we had the demon in our sight around midnight . I could finally get this mission over with...
