Sanemi POV

I was watching Giyuu the whole night. I didn't know he was quite the drinker. I only had 2 cups, but he has had about 5 now. So has everyone else just about apart from Tokito who drank water all night instead. Uzui did offer him Alchohol when he got drunker but I saw Tokito decline, saying he likes water. He was sitting in the corner next to the Radio.

Kanroji and Kocho were Laughing a lot, but Obanai was fully Blacked out-

Himejima was close to being Blacked out. So everybody was minding their business, maybe I should stay with Giyuu. Most Hashira but Tokito had stood up from the Table, so there were empty seats. I sat next to Giyuu. He had his head down on the table. with his arms covering it.

I shook him, but he turned his head slowly to me and he looked so cute- drunk.
He looked like he was crying though. He tried to keep his head up but his head fell back on the table.

"Giyuu, you had too much to drink."

"So... did you, haha, Did you know I can see you.. And you.. and you look pretty flushed . haha."

I wasn't expecting him to say that. Good thing he was looking at me-    I mean, still reading my lips.

"I think we need to go home." I said to him. He didn't look at me. I held his shoulder and turned him around so he looked at me .
"Can you focus? Watch what i'm saying. I'm taking you home."

"I .. am focused! Your lips look pretty" He smiled. My face went RED. I hope he won't remember that...

"Come on, I'm taking you to my Estate." I said while I pulled him up. He stumbled. I caught him. I wasn't expecting to deal with a drunk Giyuu. I wrapped his arm around me and helped him walk out the door. The air was cold. I stopped for a second and held his head up.
"Giyuu, can you walk straight? Are you dizzy?"

"Yeah yeah... um well , i donno, but i'm fine really.."
And he stumbled AND I had to catch him AGAIN.

"You're not fine." I said. I was really concerned about him. So We kept on walking. He wasn't too bad to walk with, just heavy on my shoulder because he kept leaning into me. But whatever, as long as he's safe.

We reached my estate and I brought him to my bed. I went out the room and returned with water for him and I set it on my nightstand.

"Sleep now." I said while he was still looking at me." He looked flushed- but cute.

As I got up from the bed Giyuu grabbed me. And I was surprised at what I heard next.

"You're real cute" He said with a relaxed and cute voice. My face burnt up. I also wanted to tell him how I felt too. He's Drunk, so he won't remember this Right?

I sat on the bed facing Giyuu. He looked Right back at me.
"You're really cute too." I finally said it.

"Haha, your funny .. . I forgot who you are."
--EMBARRASSING.
"How is it funny?" I said while sitting back down next to him.
"Well, I erm... Just think you said I'm cute, right , and Nobody said that to me ever, so ehhh i think i'm reading you wrong, yeah.... whoever you are." He said.

"I'm Sanemi."

"Shinazugawa?? Nope! The Shinazugawa that I know is not nice ...... it makes me sad... his friend is mean too and, and , He doesn't know i'm deaf soooooo he probably thinks i'm stupid... your funny, who are you really?"
I don't know if he was just drunk or he meant it,, but that hurt.

"Um, i'm just here. Now go to sleep ok." I said. I was going to leave, but how could I leave him like this. I looked at him. He looked like he was nearly crying. He also said stuff I didn't think he would say.

"Oh.... I know who you are... don't leave me.. i'm scared." He blurted out, still conscious and looking at me to see if i'd say something more.

"Who am I?"

"Sabito.. Don't leave me! You'll, you'll die! I have to ... protect you!"

This was Giyuu's friend , right? I didn't think he was drunk enough to think I was him. What should I do???

"I'm not Sabito..." I said as he looked at me. I had no idea what to do. So I stood up from the bed again but he was tugging on my haori. I turned around.

"Giyuu, I'm not-"
I stopped my sentence because Giyuu pulled me back so hard i fell straight onto the bed. I caught myself just before i hit Giyuu. His face was inches away from mine, and he was looking straight at me. He came closer to me, and before I had time to react our lips met. But it felt wrong. Not only was he drunk, but he also thinks i'm somebody else. I pulled away.

He looked at me the whole time, and after I pulled away he started crying! I was such a fucking idiot.

"Sanemi...?"

Then I panicked. Did he kiss me when he realised who I was or did he just realise now? Is he disappointed? Is he sad?

"Giyuu I-"

Before i said more he pulled the bedsheets over his face and stopped looking at me. I felt horrible. So horrible that I left the room in that moment. I was clueless. What just happened?
