IGURO OBANAI POV
The demon slashed Tomioka's Right eye and he flinched back a little bit in pain. What was that idiot doing? A fucking hashira let his guard down and got hit? A low rank demon slayer could have been more useful on this mission.
"You idiot!" I screamed at him in anger. As usual, he didn't even bother to turn around to me. He just clenched his eye like a coward. So i stepped in and attacked the demon. Tomioka put a few hits in the demon, but I brought the finishing blow. What was Tomioka even put on this mission for? He finally turned around at me, still holding that stupid eye of his with a lot of blood dripping down onto the floor. "Come on, let's go." I said. I was too pissed at him to say more.

We ran back to the Demon slayer corps headquarters and Tomioka and I split up. He probably pissed off to Kocho. But why did I care? He always ignores me anyway, which makes me care even less...

GIYUU POV
Finally that mission was over. I went to go see Kocho cause of my eye, because I knew she would bug me about not coming over, but she wouldn't stop talking to me. My vision in my left eye wasn't clear, maybe i was tired, and my Right eye obviously injured, so I think i missed some of her talking. "The cut is quite deep" I made out as she bandaged my eye. I couldn't help but stare at that smile of hers. Why was she always smiling like that?
"Tomioka-san. Are you listening to me?" I read on her lips as i had realised she was talking to me. "uhm..."
"I was saying you seem to be extremely fatigued. You must rest."
I nodded in agreement, but I didn't really have the time to sit about and 'rest'.

-- The next morning I decided to take a walk when Kanroji spotted me and dragged Iguro toward me... They were in the corps uniform obviously, but I was in a regular kimono with my beloved haori that still had some blood on from yesterday, but I hadn't washed it yet. I felt weird wearing that in front of the other Hashiras. "Kyaa! Giyuu-san!" I knew she was saying because she always says this to me. Iguro glared at me from behind Kanroji like a vulture. --

"So, Shinobu-san said you couldn't be on duty today??" She asked. I nodded and smiled. Kanroji was one of the few people I felt comfortable smiling to. "Is ... your eye ok?" . I nodded again. Kanroji smiled before setting off with Iguro. I continued my walk by looking at the sky, the trees and the nature around the Slayer Headquarters. I had almost forgot what the wind sounds like, but I felt the warmth of the sun on me, like a sign that it wasn't all too bad to be deaf. Without realising, I must have misstepped and lost my footing, and I was about to go head-first into the ground, Somebody's arms caught me...
