Sanemi Pov:

As I was hanging up Giyuu's Haori inside that I washed for him, I couldn't help but stare at him. Those eyes.  Big and beautiful...

"What are you staring at?" Giyuu scared me. I looked at him.

"Umm, nothing, just hanging your haori to dry." I responded fast.
"I didn't ask you what you were doing.."
"Oh, right.." I WAS EMBARASSED... Luckily Giyuu changed the subject.
"You're really focusing on hanging my haori..." Giyuu said. I wasn't though. I was looking right at Giyuu, and he was looking right at me. It was raining heavily outside.

"Don't expect me to be your personal clothes washer, OK?" I said jokingly.
"Yeah yeah..you wouldn't let me do it myself though." Giyuu replied. "I gotta say, I was expecting you to be angry as usual , or... something..."

"I AM NOT an angry person!" I defended myself. Giyuu let out a smile. But it was cute.

"I've never seen you smile so much untill now." I said.
"Same for you.." Giyuu said. "Maybe you should try it."

"YOU, telling me to SMILE? You have never smiled since you became a Hashira untill NOW!" Giyuu laughed as I said that.
"Well Shinazugawa, You should smile. You know you want to."

-- I don't want to smile, I want to- nevermind..

"I SMILE ALOT- I'll think about it.." I gave in.
"Alright.. Let's go sit down." Giyuu said. I followed him to his main room and we sat on the chairs facing eachother. It started to thunder badly outside. We sat for a few minutes and I felt really akward. Was he ok with me being here, really?
"I should get going now, thank you." I said bravely.
"Oh. "Giyuu mouthed. He looked sad. Did he wan't me here?
As I stood up Something pulled me back. I looked back to see GIYUU grabbing my wrist gently but firm. My heart skipped NOT 1 BEAT, BUT MAYBE 2....

"M- maybe you shouldn't ... You know, It's thundering . Stay for a while Sanemi." Giyuu said looking me right in the eyes. I looked into his big sparkly eyes. My heart fluttered when he said my first name too. Should I stay?

Giyuu kept staring at me, so I guess he was waiting to see my reply.
"O- ok." I said while Giyuu was still grabbing my hand. He then let go and smiled.
"I'll make tea!" He mouthed. and walked off to the kitchen. Should I help him? Should I follow him? Why does my heart want to follow him?

Instead, I suppressed my thoughts and sat my bottom down on the chair. A couple minutes later, Giyuu came out holding 2 cups. He placed them down. The hot teas smelt amazing.

"Thank you." I said while looking at him as he sat down. The thunder was loud, but my heart was louder.

We both took a sip and placed the cup down. I turned to Giyuu.

"Umm.. the thunder.. is it loud?" He asked.
"Well, umm, yes.." I nodded.
"No, no. I mean , if you count the seconds in between each thunder strike , you can tell how far away it is." He said so beautifully.

"Oh, well, it seems like the thunder is further apart now." I said looking outside the window. Somethibg moved in the corner of my eye. I looked back at Giyuu, who was shivering.

"Are you cold?" I asked him . Dumb question to ask..
"My- my haori isn't dry yet.." He mouthed.

"Wear mine." I said while taking mine off and giving it to him. I don't know why I did that.

"Oh umm, thanks." He said while putting it on. It looked pretty on him.

"It looks nice- I mean- It suits you. I guess." I stuttered. I wanted to tell him he looked pretty. He smiled at me and then turned his head to look out the window. I felt embarrassed but also happy.

We didn't talk for the next few minutes. I couldn't find anything to say. The thunder wasn't going away like i thought it would. But then, something nudged my shoulder. And again. I turned around and GIYUU was resting on my shoulder . WAS HE AWAKE?

"umm.-"
no response. My face went BRIGHT RED. I didn't know what to do. Should I just let him sleep on my shoulder? Is this weird? I don't want to get up and he'll wake up. Instead I leaned back. I felt flushed.

A cute boy, was wearing my haori and resting on my shoulder.
