26 / Tengen's Party

Giyuu POV:

As Sanemi and I were about to part ways, our crows came to us. "Caw caw! Hashira Meeting now! Important suggestion from the Stone Pillar! Caw!" Kanzaburo mouthed. Sanemi and I looked at eachother and nodded. We walked quickly to the meeting place.

When we arrived I didn't stop to think that I was with Sanemi. "Why are YOU2 together?" I saw Iguro say.
"We came the same direction-" I looked at Sanemi saying that, but he stopped talking. I then realised everyone was there already. We both sat down quick. Himejima put his hands together and said the usual 'thank you for coming' stuff. Then, he said something unexpected.
"I have a proposal. We will hold a Hashira Training programme in order to prepare other demon slayers for the worst. I have contacted the former Sound Hashira to also help."

Everyone thought it was a good idea. Not me. No way would I do a Hashira training - I didn't want to face other demon slayers. They'd look at me and think I wasn't a proper Hashira. Just as I said I won't be doing the training, Kocho also said that. I have no idea why she is not doing it- she would be an amazing agility trainer. Whatever.

After the hashira meeting it was decided-
Uzui: basic strength and stamina training
Mui: Quick Movement training
Kanroji-san: Flexibility Training
Iguro: Sword accuracy training
Sanemi: Endurance training
Himejima: Strength and Muscle training

Kocho and I: nothing. I know Tanjiro is going to comment on this.

I did wait for Tanjiro in my estate, and Sanemi went back, but I ended up having Tea with Tanjiro for a long time and much later too as he had only gotten back from his big mission recently and was still recovering. He was allowed to leave the butterfly mansion for a bit. Despite Tanjiro breaking his leg, he still stayed really close to me. And he had already known about the Hashira training already.

"Why won't you participate in training too Giyuu-san??" He questioned me.

"It doesn't matter. You'll get better training from the other hashira." I replied.

"Even Tengen-san is coming to help with his wives! You should do the training too- everyone would be really excited to train with you!"

"Yeah.... I don't know."

"Well, maybe later? Giyuu-san."

I sighed. I was going to walk out the room hoping he would go home. I had patrolling to do. It was getting late and now and as I walked towards the place I was patrolling , tanjiro followed me. But then, Kanzaburo flew towards me. I held out my hand, ready for him to land on it.

"Caw Caw! The Former Sound Hashira has invited all Hashira to a Drinking Party! He has re-scheduled all of your plans for tomorrow with the Master!"

As Kanzaburo flyed away, I sighed. If I didn't go to this, He wouldn't leave me alone. Uzui is like that.

"Oh, Good night then Tomioka! I hope you have fun!" Tanjiro said before leaving with his crutches. At least he wasn't following me.

I walked over to one of the Meeting Rooms in the Corps, which is where he was hosting. When I came inside, Everything was bright and everyone was there sitting on a giant table. Sanemi was there. He locked eyes with me.

"We'll Hurry up Tomioka! Everyone has been waiting to drink! Come sit down!" Uzui hurried me.
There were 2 spots left, so sat down next to Muichiro. If I had sat next to Kanroji, I know Iguro would be glaring at me all night. I don't know why he didn't sit there himself.

Tengen turned on the Radio that was next to him, Everyone looked like they were laughing, singing and having a good time. Not me. I wish I could enjoy a party like everyone else...

Sanemi sat diagonally from me. Tengen suddenly brought out 9 cups and a big bottle of alchohol. He poured the Alchohol evenly. I didn't want to drink, because I know when I'm drunk I blurt out stuff.
Tengen turned off the Music again. I stopped feeling the vibrations. Tengen gave water to Mui, because he was 14. The 9th cup was for Rengoku. Tengen set it in the Empty seat.

Everyone picked up their cup even Muichiro, I looked at Sanemi. He was picking up his cup too.

1 drink won't hurt, right?

I watched Tengen. "To our successes and our losses! Tonight we celebrate the beginning of Hashira Training! And we Drink in our beloved friend's honour. For Rengoku!"  He mouthed.
"For Rengoku!" Everyone else sayed. I said it too. I miss him.

We all did cheers and I drank the first cup like everyone else. I only drank that for Rengoku-san.
I wasn't going to have any more drinks..

"Who wants Round 2!" Tengen shouted as he turned the music back on

Well..  this is surely going to be a long night..
