Sage Taylor

I scratched my head before sitting up in my bed. I looked at the time and sighed before quickly snatching the covers off of my body.

"Sage, you up? I know you're up I can hear the change of rhythm in your breathing." Sylvia said knocking on my door.

I rolled my eyes annoyed, Sylvia Taylor my big sister. There are three of us, Saint, Sylvia, and me. I was the baby and the last one in high school.

"Yes, I'm up." I said.

"Ok good get dress I'm driving you to school." She said.

"Ok." I mumbled.

I heard her feet reside and placed my head into my hands. Another day another whatever the fuck.

I brushed my teeth before getting dressed. I sprayed perfume on myself before opening my door.

I walked downstairs to the kitchen to see my dad and brother having breakfast.

"Hey baby doll." He smiled.

My dad, George Taylor head of the family. My father is a dragon...yes you heard correct dragon. Sylvia is a chimera, a lion with a goats head out the back and a snake for a tail. Saint is a basilisk, a dragon snake with breath hotter than fire and venom deadlier than any poison there is.

Then there's me...I'm not special no powers no secret venom none of that. That's a secret to outsiders...since super natural beings became a thing.

Most of the world wanted to kill them, went into a panic. When the states tried to kill us, South Korea opened there border to us....well supernatural beings. I wasn't supernatural, if people found out I wasn't. I'll be sent back to the states or killed.

They deported their own people for us, and that is what made me raise my brows. I always felt there was a secret agenda to why go to such lengths for creatures? But here I am 12 years later and they haven't done anything suspicious yet.

The super beings hated humans, I don't blame them they wanted to use them for war. Then when they refused they killed their families and children with no care in the world.

"Hey dad." I smiled.

I pecked his cheek before making myself a plate.

"You took so long it's probably cold. Here." Saint said.

He took the plate out of my hands and blew lightly on it. My once cold pancakes, eggs, and bacon were now steaming.

"Thank you." I smiled sitting beside him.

"Come on chop chop, I have to get to the plant." Sylvia rushed checking her watch.

"You know I could drive myself-"

"No." Everyone said.

I huffed and rolled my eyes, they always treated me like the baby. I couldn't become friends with anyone since they didn't want anyone to ask to many questions. That was understandable, but I go to a super natural school.
