Hwang In-Yeop
I held Sage hand as we stood outside of the school. I looked at her and gave her hand a squeeze.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"You think returning to school was the right choice. I mean it's only been a few days." She said.
"We can leave." I said.
"No, I've missed enough days." She said.
I nodded and nervously bit my lip, maybe it was too soon. She still hadn't mastered her abilities yet.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"I'm sure, let's do this." She mumbled.
I nodded before we walked into the school. Sage stopped as she placed her hands over her ears, I looked at her confused.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Everyone is thinking so loudly." She groaned.
I took my headphones out of my book bag and placed them over her ears.
"Better?" I asked.
She nodded and embraced me in a tight hug. I rubbed her back before we made it to her locker.
"Hey guys." Daniel said walking up to us.
"Hey Daniel." I said.
Sage waved before opening her locker.
"Basketball after school?" Daniel asked.
"Yeah, it's been a while." I said.
"Bet." He nodded.
Sage closed her locker before leaning against it.
"You ok there little wolf?" Daniel asked.
"Huh? Yeah just thinking." Sage said.
Daniel nodded.
"You drove today or did you run?" I asked.
"I ran, mind if I ride with you?" He asked.
"That's fine." I nodded.
"How's Ash?" He asked.
"He's hungry...but not for food." I whispered glancing at Sage.
"Huh?...Oh." Daniel said.
"Yeah, we'll talk more about that later." I chuckled.
"Got ya." He nodded.
The sound of the bell filled my ears before I looked at Sage.
"I'll see you after class ok." I said.
She looked up at me and nodded before I pecked her lips. We parted ways before Daniel and I engaged in our own conversation.
