I readjusted my book bag before getting into the car. I put my seat belt on before Sylvia got into the car.
"So are you ready for your trip?" She asked.
"It's just Han river." I said.
"But aren't you excited?" She asked.
"Yeah, Dong-Min is going so I guess that's good." I smiled.
"Is there a crush you're not telling me about?" She asked.
It's a crush alright but it ain't Dong-Min.
"No." I chuckled.
"Mhmmmm." She laughed.
I shook my head.
"I have a question." I mumbled.
"What is it?" She asked.
"You know how Korea basically saved all living creatures and things like that." I said.
"Mhm." She nodded.
"You don't find it weird that they...moved the residents out to bring us in?" I asked.
She looked at me before looking at the road.
"I've always found it weird, which is why the training started for you and all of us. They haven't done anything to raise my suspicions but...I'm telling you Sage it's fishy." She agreed.
"I know it's fishy...but they haven't done anything yet. Like they treat us like humans...benefits good jobs...schools. I feel like there's a hidden agenda." I said looking out the window.
"Thank god someone feels the same, so you know I work at the plant as a scientist right...there's this floor that I've recently found but I don't have access to enter." She said.
"But you're a scientist...shouldn't you have access to all the floors?" I asked confused.
"Exactly, I don't know but something's up." She said.
"We'll talk about this more later ok." I said as she came to a stop.
She looked out of my window and waved, I looked over my shoulder at Dong-Min and smiled.
"I'm glad you have someone to be with." She smiled.
I looked at her and smiled.
"Love you bye." I said getting out the car.
I waved as she drove away before looking at Dong-Min.
"What's up superstar." He smiled.
"Hi, how was your weekend?" I asked.
"Boring, but yours seemed exciting. How'd your family let you go to Seoul?" He asked.
I chuckled.
"They didn't." I said.
"You snuck out?" He asked.
"I did...can you believe it?" I asked smiling.
