Chapter Twenty-Three

Hwang In-Yeop

I flopped on the bed and pulled my phone out before I went on google. I wanted to know more about Sage's abilities.

"Babe, what are you doing?" Sage asked walking further into the room.

I looked at her before closing my phone.

"Nothing, why?" I asked looking at her suspiciously.

She sat on our bed and folded her legs.

"No reason." She smiled.

I squinted my eyes at her.

"What are you up to?" I asked.

"Nothing." She laughed.

"Mhm." I said pulling my phone out.

"Soooo what are you doing?" She asked leaning over my shoulder.

"Doing research on your species." I said.

"Hmm, let me see." She snatched my phone out.

"Hey give it back." I said sitting up.

"Can sirens have sex with werewolves?" She gasp.

I face palmed myself, embarrassing.

"Can a werewolf and a siren have babies and if so what would the species be?" She laughed.

"Oh my god." I said snatching the phone.

She laughed hysterically holding her stomach.

"I hope you got your answers." She giggled.

"I was curious..." I trailed.

"Mhm." She laughed before fiddling with her bracelet.

"So are you going to tell me what this is about?" I asked touching her bracelet.

"Oh...I met another Siren." She said sitting on the bed.

"Is that why you were gone so long?" I asked.

"Mhm, I can't tell you the location. Her name is Evangeline." She smiled.

"Mhmmmm." I said folding my arms.

"And she said she was waiting for me, she's offered to train me with my abilities." She said.

"Will we meet her?" I asked.

"Eventually." She shrugged.

I heard a knock on the door before In-Seo popped his head in.

"Mom said lunch is ready." He said.

"Ok beat it dweeb." I said waving him off.

I looked at him as tears began to form in his eyes.

"Aww why would you say that to him. It's ok In-Seo your brother's being a jerk." Sage said embracing him in a hug.
