Sage Taylor

She kneeled down and rubbed her hands down my fluke making it disappear into a scale textured skirt. I looked at her in shock before she grabbed my hand and pulled me on my feet.

"How'd you do that?" I asked.

"You clearly haven't finished your mothers journal." She said.

"How do you know my mother?" I asked.

"Like I said I've been waiting for you Sage." She said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Follow me." She said.

I walked beside her as she continued.

"I know it must be confusing, but in due time you will understand everything." She said.

"Do all the Sirens know about this place?" I asked.

"Those who are worthy of hearing the song, will eventually find their way." She said.

"So on the bus...that was you singing?" I asked.

"Mhm and when you were transforming...that was also me singing." She smiled.

I looked at and nodded before I shoved her.

"What took you so long?" I asked.

She looked at me and chuckled.

"You were too young." She said.

"Bullshit." I scuffed.

"Ok you're right, I felt you weren't ready." She said.

"But I am now?" I asked.

"You are, especially in a time where our species is in danger." She said.

"What do you mean in Danger?" I asked.

"Have you ever wondered why you barely seen anyone of our kind in school or around?" She asked.

"I just thought it was because most of the sirens went to China." I shrugged.

It was true most of our kind decided to hide there abilities and go to China.

"Well...children are missing and are being found with their blood drained." She said.

"Wait, so vampire?" I asked.

"No, there are no humans in Korea except for a few that are in power. Vampires don't feed on super natural, our blood is like water to them...tasteless. What would you do with powerful blood if you were the government?" She asked.

I looked at her confused.

"I don't know make a weapon of some sort, or an army." I shrugged.

She looked at me and folded her arms.

"You're not saying that the government is behind Lilacs death?" I asked.
