Sage Taylor

I looked over my shoulder to see Sylvia hot on our tail. I gripped onto Ash neck as he picked up the pace.

"LOSE HER ASH!" I yelled.

He growled, he hoped over multiple trees but Sylvia was just too quick. We ran through the woods before reaching the end of a mountain. Ash stopped just at the tip as I let out a scream.

I looked at Sylvia and she let out a roar  as she looked at us.

"Syl please." I said.

She looked at me before focusing her attention back on Ash. She lunged at us and Ash quickly stepped aside letting her jump over the mountain.

My heart dropped before Ash leaped down enough to catch her by her snake tail. He pulled her up before backing away, Sylvia looked at us.

"Come on, go." I said patting Ash back.

He slowly retreated as Sylvia kept her eyes on us. She let us go...I couldn't believe it, Ash slowed down before he stopped.

I hoped off of his back and sat on a branch placing my head in my hands. I heard him whimper before he mushed his head against mine.

I looked as tears fell down my cheeks, his dark green eyes soften as he placed small licks under my eyes.

"Ok, ok." I laughed.

He sat down and huffed, I looked at him and noticed he had cuts all over his body.

"Ash we have to get you home." I said.

He stood up and lowered his body before I shook my head.

"No, you're too weak-"

He growled at me.

"Ok not weak but...not strong right now. I'll follow you." I said.

He huffed before standing straight, I placed my hand on his back as we walked through the woods together.

It felt like hours we were walking, I felt my knees go weak. He looked at me and lowered his body, I shook my head.

"I'm fine." I mumbled.

He grabbed me by my collar before tossing me like some rag doll on his back. He picked up the pace before we finally made it to a cabin. He began to howl before the door opened, I squinted as a woman and two little boys quickly approached us.

She was talking but I was to exhausted to here before I blacked out.

Hwang In-Yeop

I groaned in pain as I stood up straight, my entire body was bruised. My mother threw blanket around me as I picked up an unconscious Sage. I walked into my bed room and placed her on the bed before I collapsed beside the bed.

"In-Yeop, we have to get you cleaned up." My mother said.

"I'm not leaving her alone." I said.
