Sage Taylor

I anxiously let out a breath before Saint grabbed my hand. I looked at him before he gave me a squeeze, the door opened.

"Hi, come in." Mr.Dawson said stepping aside.

We walked in and his home was...messy.

"Sorry for the mess, I've been busy focusing on Sylvia." He sighed.

"How is she?" Saint asked.

It's been a week since Sylvia went bat shit crazy and we were all stressed the fuck out.

"I have bad news and good news." He sighed.

"What's the bad news?" Saint asked.

"They injected her with sector 6, it's a drug SPS produced to enhance supernatural powers. Some of the tested subjects become belligerent, or lose memory. It's supposed to be used for the supernatural beings who decided to put their power to use in the army. Since it was a let down on a few subjects we didn't release it. She's slowly coming back, with withdrawals she should be fine." He explained.

"And the good news?" I asked rubbing my temple.

"She's fighting it...and it hasn't done any damage to her brain so once it wears off she should be normal. She's ok now but I want to keep her for one more night." He said.

"Can we see her?" Saint asked.

"Yeah right this way." He said.

We followed him upstairs before he opened a door. Sylvia knees hugged her chest as she looked out the window.

"Sylvia, Sage and Saint are here to see you." Mr.Dawson said.

She looked over her shoulder at us before she stood up. She ran jumping into Saints arms, she let out a cry as she squeezed him tight.

"I'm sorry." She sniffed.

Saint wiped her face as tears fell down his cheeks.

"It's ok, it's ok." He said.

She sniffed before she glanced at me, I embraced her in a hug and squeezed her tight.

"I'm sorry." She cried.

"It's ok, I know it wasn't your fault." I said.

She sighed before she wiped my eyes.

"I should've minded my business." She sighed.

"What happened?" Saint asked.

"I tried to go to the unauthorized floor, and I made it...I remember seeing blood panels. Some of them had names of the missing children, I was about to leave when everything went black...that's all I remember." She explained.

I thought of the information Dong-Min told us last week before sitting down. Saint and her began to engage in conversation as I sat back in deep thought.

Just a few months ago the only thing I had to worry about was someone finding out I was human....now this.
