Sage Taylor

I groaned in pain before my eyes fluttered opened. I immediately closed them as the light pierced them, I rubbed my eyes before opening them. I sat up and realized I was in white scrubs.

"Hello." I said.

"Ah, you're awake...I've been waiting to get ahold of you Ms.Taylor or should I say Mrs.Hwang."

I looked around noticing a camera and scuffed.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Oh, how rude of me. I'm Dr.Xavier pleasure to meet you...Mrs.Hwang." He said.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"I would like to run a few test of course...you're the last piece of my puzzle." He said.

"What puzzle?" I asked confused.

"As you know...all of the sirens have went into hiding. When I found your mother boy did I think she was it. She doesn't have the blue blood...but you do." He said.

I rubbed my temples as the pieces started to form. Sylvia said we were different...blue blood?

"What is that?" I asked.

"Your family is...special. Same family different abilities...it's marvelous might I add." He chuckled.

"Get to the fucking point already." I snapped.

"You've got nothing but time, you are the only one out of your siblings who carries blue blood. It's a gene that comes every thousand years. You were born in 2000, the thousand year." He explained.

I sat down as I gripped the edges of the bed. Blue blood? Kids being killed, drained of blood...this is what they were looking for? Blue blood.

"You're behind the murders?" I asked.

"I've searched for over a decade for a pure blue blood. Then when Sylvia began working for SPS, I knew you were close by." He explained.

Kids died...because he was searching for me?

"You looked for me? Is that why you killed people?" I asked.

"When I first discovered you, you were still human. You weren't fully developed yet, but boy when you transformed...I was ecstatic." He laughed.

I clinched my jaw and shook my head.

"I'm already ten steps ahead of you, and don't worry Dong-Min is next, you out alone at night perfect opportunity." He said.

Ten steps ahead but didn't know I was here for a reason. Fucking idiot.

"How does Serena tie into this?" I asked.

"When her body was delivered to my lab, I thought she was dead...most beautiful creature I've ever seen. So I fixed her up and she became my little project. 12 years of taming her, well worth it." He chuckled.

I closed my eyes and huffed.

"What happens after you take my blood?" I asked.
