Sage Taylor
"From your valedictorian Sage Taylor."
The sound of applause filled my ears as I stood up. I walked through the crowd before stepping on to the stage. I readjusted my cap and looked over the crowd.
"Hey, um...this school year was tough. Really tough, we've watched our friends go missing and turn up did. We fought the government together and then turned around scrapping up our knowledge to graduate." I chuckled.
The crowd laughed.
"WE LOVE YOU SAGE!" Sylvia yelled.
I smiled before I looked at my hands, images of blood on them filled my head before I took a deep breath. It's been three months since we took down SPS and it still haunted me.
I looked at the crowd before my eyes landed on In-Yeops. He gave me a nod before I smiled. I finished up my speech before tossing my cap, I walked off of stage before In-Yeop embraced me in a hug picking me up off of my feet.
"Congratulations." He smiled.
"Thank you." I smiled.
He pecked my lips before Dong-Min and Daniel joined us.
"We fucking did it losers." Daniel said embracing us in a hug.
"Don't leave me." Dong-Min said embracing us.
"Smile for the picture guys." Sylvia said.
We all huddled up before smiling for the picture. I glanced at Saint who wiped a tear from his eyes.
"Gosh they grow so fast." He sighed.
Evangeline rolled her eyes before shoving him.
"Congratulations." She said embracing me in a hug.
"Thank you." I said.
"I want to show you something." She cheesed.
She grabbed my hand dragging me to the river.
"Look." She said pointing.
I sighed before looking at the river, I seen sirens swim at the speed of light spelling out congratulations.
"Oh my god, THANK YOU!" I yelled waving.
Evangeline smiled and waved.
"I can't believe you did this." I laughed.
"Well...they're more comfortable with visiting now that things have changed."She said.
I nodded, since Mr.Kang is charge things have done a 180. Residents have return and it was possible for all of us to coexist as one.
It wasn't perfect but it was a process, I turned around leaning on the railing before glancing at In-Yeop. He was talking to his parents causing me to smile.
