Hwang In-Yeop
I paced the dock as I bit my nails, it's been twenty minutes. Twenty got damn minutes and I was beginning to lose my mind.
"ANYTHING?" Sylvia yelled.
I watched as She, Saint and George ran down the dock in a panic. I shook my head and sighed.
"How long has she been in the water?" Saint asked.
"Twenty minutes." I said.
Sylvia rubbed her hands through her hair and sighed. George walked to the edge of the dock and fell to his knees.
"It's Serena all over again." He sniffed.
"Dad don't say that." Sylvia said.
Before I could open my mouth I heard...bubbles? We all looked at one another confused before moving to the end of the dock.
We flew back crashing to the ground, I sat up on my elbows as I saw Sage fall back into the water.
"SAGE!" I yelled running to the end of the dock.
I looked in the water to see her swimming. She was swimming, I watched as she washed up onto the surface.
I pushed passed Sylvia and George before running off of the dock. I stopped as I got close enough to see her.
"Wow." I mumbled.
Sylvia and Saint stopped before looking at Sage.
"A siren." Saint smiled.
"Just like mom." Sylvia said glancing at Saint.
Her flukes showed the contrast of dark blue and light blue. Her hands covered in glistening light blue scale traveling to her chest.
Her fluke itself had to be 6 feet long, I cautiously walked closer before knelling beside her. I moved her wet hair out of her face and smiled.
Smoke gathered around her body causing me squeeze my eyes shut. I opened them to see her naked, damn.
I shook the naughty thoughts out of my head before removing my shirt placing it over her head.
"Let's get her back to the house." Saint said.
I nodded before picking her up, once we made it to the house I placed her gently in the bed before covering her with the covers.
I sat down and rubbed my hands through my hair. I heard the door open before glancing at Saint and Sylvia.
"She's going to be ok." Sylvia said.
I nodded before sitting back.
"She could've died, how come we didn't see this coming?" Saint asked.
"There are no signs of someone gaining powers." Sylvia mumbled.
"Yes there were, she got sick every year. Always craving water, the cold shower it all makes sense now." Saint said.
