Hwang In-Yeop

I sat up and tossed the cover off my body before standing, I rubbed my hands through my hair before I stepped out of my room. I walked outside and sat on the porch and took a deep breath, I heard the door opened and looked over my shoulder to see my mother.

"In-Yeop? What's wrong?" She asked sitting beside me.

"I can't sleep." I said.

"Why? What's on your mind?" She asked.

I shrugged.

"A lot of stuff, one of my classmates is missing." I said.

"Which one?" She asked.

"Lilac, the fairy." I explained.

"The one you use to complain about?" She asked.

I chuckled and nodded.

"Yeah." I mumbled.

"Relax, I'm sure the police are looking for her." She said.

"That's the thing mom, she's been missing for a while but nothing...no news broad cast or nothing." I explained.

"Hmmm, that is weird." She said.

"Yeah, then it's this guy in school who keeps messing with this girl-"

"Girl? Oh do tell." She said.

I chuckled.

"It's this girl at my school Sage, she has this friend Dong-Min he clearly likes her." I sighed.

"Ok and?" She asked.

"And he can teleport." I sighed.

She looked at me and scrunched up her face.

"I know you aren't feeling insecure, In-Yeop look at me." She said in a stern voice.

I looked at her and sighed.

"Yes he can teleport, but that is all he can do. You can turn into a god damn wolf, you incredibly fast, strong as hell, super hearing, and let's not talk about your human combat let alone the combat that Ash can produce. You are more than enough for any girl." She explained.

I smiled and nodded.

"Thanks mom, but that's the problem...I feel like Sage would want someone with a more...simple power." I explained.

"And did this Sage tell you that?" She asked.

"No." I said.

"Then stop overthinking, the guy likes her but if she's only been giving you a certain attention then what is the problem?" She asked.

"Her family and there rules, they allow her to talk to Dong-Min freely but not me. We have to sneak around...it's exciting but that's the only thing that Dong-Min has on me...there approval." I looked down.

"It's because you're a wolf." She said.

I looked at her confused.
