Sitting across from the old man we were almost done checking over the books and making sure everything was in check.
"Smth a bother you" he said not looking up from his computer.
"No sah me good mon" I replied in hopes of convincing him.
Now looking up at me he stared a me unconvinced before he threw his hand up in surrender.
"Nah pressure uh, when uh ready come talk to me"
Nodding we continued what we were doing.
"Come on let's go to lunch"
Closing my laptop I began placing my stuff in my bag. "Weh uh wah guh?"
"Feel fhi steak" he said getting up and fixing himself.
"Alright fawud nuh"
"See uh damn face bout fawud nuh" he laughs as we walk out his office.
Chuckling I pulled my phone out to see if Cali had responded.
Not seeing anything I hissed closing the phone and placing it back into my pocket.
"Trouble in paradise?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Kinda"
Nodding he got the sense that I didn't want to talk about it.
Making our way outside security brought his car around and we got in.
"When uh buy this pops?" I said admiring his new Audi Q7
Letting out a laugh he looks over at me before pulling off at full speed.
"See you now, limit" I laughed. "No come kill me off cause mi no knw wah uh go tell Liv"
"A true, 2 a uno coming like uno a twin tpc"

Making conversation here and there pops made a 30 minute drive turn into a 15 minute drive.
Hopping out the car he handed his keys over to valet before we began making our way inside.
Scanning the area just to take in where we were the place wasn't too packed as it was 1:30 pm on a Tuesday.
Being lead to a private dining room we took our respective seats and started looking at the menu.
Seeing a waitress walks up to us she introduced herself and took our drink order.
"Know wah uh want fhi eat already?" Pops asked still scanning the menu.
"Yeah" I respond pulling my phone out again checking to see if she had responded.
Deciding on calling her she picks up after the second ring.
Hello she answered with sleep lingering in her voice.
