this song means a lot to me. a new era. a new me. i'm almost 21 years old, will be 21 in june. i wanted to release this song on my birthday but the label wanted me to release it after the grammys.. which i was a little annoyed at but i guess releasing it a few days after my big performance at the grammys is a smart move. and i agree with them.
i just wanted this to be the song i released on my 21 birthday to enter that era of 'proper adult hood' like i know i'm already a adult. but 21 is a defining moment in someone's life. that's why i wanted it released on my 21st birthday.. the song is older.. sexier.. and really gives off the vibe for the whole era and album.
i'm excited. so so excited.

my phone began ringing and i sighed seeing that it was Henry. "hello" i answered it softly
"anna!" he said quickly and i laughed softly "you alright big man?" i joked and he scoffed "i've told you about that" he warned me making me chuckle "so you know how we've basically scrapped the music video?" he asked me and i nodded even though he couldn't see me
"anna??" he questioned
"yes. sorry" i laughed softly, apologising.
"i've got the perfect idea." he said and i groaned
"why you groaning?" he asked instantly
"because you always say 'i've got a perfect idea' then its not perfect." i say simply
"that's just totally incorrect." he replied "but anyway." he said
"we was thinking... centralcee should be in your music video."
"excuse me?!" i raised my voice slightly
"come on." he said instantly "in almost every interview you are asked your celebrity crush and you say central cee each time.. he even mentioned you in one of his songs after that..." he said and i sat thinking
"he's followed you on instagram.. and he likes nearly all of your stuff." he added making me laugh
"you're still not proving why he should be in my music video." i state firmly
"thought you fancied him?" he asked me straight away and i laughed. my manager is crazy.
"i do! i do." i simply said "but just because i fancy him doesn't mean he should be in my music video. does that mean we're gonna be getting in channing tatum too?? maybe chris brown?" i recommend sarcastically and henry sighed at me
