Some days later, Minho and Felix were diligently helping Seungmin heal, but the lingering curiosity about the puppy boy’s secret was palpable among the other members.

One evening, as they sat in the living room, Chan brought up the topic. “Seungmin-ah, do you remember when Hye—uh, that girl said, ‘Seungmin here used to be quite the charmer. But behind that innocent face, there’s a lot more to the story, isn’t there?’? What did she mean?”

Seungmin, feeling the weight of their gazes, hesitated. His eyes flickered with discomfort, but he quickly masked it with a small, strained smile. “Oh, she was just trying to tease me,” he said, dismissively. “You know how some people can be.”

The oldest looked concerned but didn’t press further, sensing the second youngest’s reluctance. The room grew quiet, the unspoken question lingering in the air.

Minho, sensing heaviness in the air, decided to lighten the mood. “Okay, enough about secrets! Let’s talk about something more fun. How about we have a karaoke night? I need to hear our Seungminnie’s angelic voice again!”

Felix grinned, picking up on the older’s cue. “Yeah! I could use some entertainment, and I’m sure our dandy boy has a few surprises up his sleeve!”

Minho winked at Seungmin. “Come on, Seungmo. You can’t hide behind that innocent face forever. Let’s see those hidden talents!”

The latter chuckled, a small smile breaking through his earlier tension. “Alright, alright! But only if you promise to sing along, hyung.”

The atmosphere shifted, laughter replacing the earlier unease as they began discussing their favorite songs, ready to embrace the joy of the moment together.

Seungmin had been feeling increasingly overwhelmed with the group activities, a tension building inside him that his members easily noticed. Yet, despite their concern, he insisted he was fine, not wanting to burden them with his stress.

One day, while they were preparing for a performance, the pressure peaked. The rehearsal was chaotic, and the stress of the upcoming schedule loomed heavily over him. As he accidentally hit Hyunjin and the others rushed around, Seungmin felt the walls closing in. His heart raced, and the memories of his past began flooding back, suffocating him.

Suddenly, he was hit by a wave of panic. He staggered back, gasping for air, his hands trembling. “I-I’m sorry! I’m so sorry!” he repeated, the words spilling from his lips as he struggled to regain control.

The members, sensing something was wrong, immediately rushed to his side. “Seungminnie! Hey, look at us!” Chan urged, his voice filled with concern. “Breathe, Minnie! We’re here!”

But the latter couldn’t hear them through the chaos in his mind. He continued to apologize, trapped in a cycle of fear and regret. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry!” he cried, feeling lost and isolated.

Felix moved closer, trying to reach him. “Minnie, please focus on my voice! You’re not alone!” he pleaded, his heart aching for his friend.

But the panic consumed the puppy boy, drowning out their voices. His breaths came in quick, shallow gasps, and he pressed his hands against his temples, fighting to block out the memories that haunted him.
