Seungmin looked at the clock on the wall, watching as time passed by. He tapped his foot nervously, feeling a knot in his stomach as the minutes went by slowly. Minho was supposed to be home hours ago, but work had kept him late once again.

Right on time, the door creaked open, and the just mentioned entered their cozy apartment, his tiredness evident on his face. The puppy boy put on a smile, hiding the frustration he felt. "Hey, you're finally back."

He dropped his bag by the door and crossed the room to give his boyfriend a quick kiss on the cheek. "Hey, my puppy. How are you?"

Seungmin pulled away slightly. "Good..."

The older's smile faltered, concern flickering in his eyes. "What's wrong, Seungmo? Is everything okay?"

Seungmin's response was hesitant. "N-nothing's wrong, I'm fine," he managed to say, though the weight of his concerns lingered in the air.

The older's brows furrowed, his heart aching at the evident struggle in his boyfriend's demeanor. "Okay, you're not fine," he gently insisted, moving closer to his partner. "Come, sit on my lap. Comfort yourself how much you like and tell me what happened, only if you want to, obviously. Don't feel forced."

Reluctantly, the younger accepted, allowing the other to draw him into a comforting embrace. "It's just...I don't know..." he began, his voice barely above a whisper.

Seungmin's voice wavered as he struggled to describe his feelings. "I can't shake the feeling you aren't taking our relationship seriously anymore," he admitted.

Minho's brow furrowed in concern, his heart heavy with the weight of the blonde's words. "And why so?" he inquired softly, a mixture of apprehension and remorse could be felt in his tone.

The other hesitated, grappling with the whirlwind of emotions brewing within him. "You're never here, you always reply so late," he began, his voice tinged with a hint of sorrow. "I always have to text first or we don't talk at all. I miss your presence so much. The time you're in Seoul you're at work. Who knows, maybe when you were away you even found someone better! Haha..." A bitter laugh escaped him. "I'm not asking you to stop working, but at least take some breaks to stay with me.

The ravenette's chest tightened at the pain evident in the blonde's words, a pang of guilt gnawing at him. "I'm sorry, Seungminnie. I know it hasn't been easy for you, and I hate that I have to be away so much. You know I'd never do that to you," he confessed, his voice filled with remorse. "But I have this project in LA, it's important. I promise, once it's done, things will go back to what was once normal."

The other's gaze darkened slightly, with a flicker of skepticism in his eyes. "You always say it, Minho. It's always "once this project is done" or "just a little while longer". I need more than empty promises. And then, to top it all off, you come back from your trip and tell me you have to leave again for LA? I can't do this anymore, Minho. I can't keep waiting for you to come home."

His heart sank at Seungmin's words, the gravity of the situation weighing heavily upon him. "Pup-" he began, his voice filled with regret, but Seungmin cut him off with a resolute declaration.
