In the dim light of his apartment, Minho sat hunched over on a stool in front of his mirror. The late afternoon sun cast long shadows across the room, catching on the edges of his disheveled hair. The room felt both intimate and suffocating, as if it were closing in on him.

His eyes, red-rimmed from lack of sleep, traced his face in the mirror. The surface was smudged in places, his reflection slightly blurred, mirroring the confusion within him. He ran his fingers through his hair, tugging gently as his mind wandered back to Seungmin.

There was a time when things had been simpler—when Seungmin's laughter filled the silence that Minho had long grown accustomed to. Their moments together had been fleeting but intense, like the first bloom of spring flowers, beautiful yet fragile. But Minho, burdened by his own fears and inability to fully open up, had always struggled to express what Seungmin truly meant to him.

As the memories played back in his mind like a silent film, Minho's reflection seemed to waver. His lips trembled, the weight of his regret heavy in the air. He had let Seungmin slip away, too afraid to confront his own emotions until it was too late.

He blinked rapidly, trying to compose himself, but the tears came anyway. They pooled in his hands, sliding down his fingers as if his body could no longer contain the sorrow. His hands, now wet, covered his face, pressing against the mirror as though he could somehow touch the past.

Outside, the streets remained still. The early spring air carried the faint scent of blossoming flowers, but the chill lingered, much like the unresolved tension between the seasons—and between Minho and Seungmin. Nature seemed to mirror his inner turmoil, the contrast between the beauty of new beginnings and the cold reminder of what had been lost.

Outside, the streets remained still. The early spring air carried the faint scent of blossoming flowers, but the chill lingered, much like the unresolved tension between the seasons—and between Minho and Seungmin.

Minho's chest heaved as he lowered his hands, staring at his reflection once more. His image was distorted now, the tears on the mirror streaking his face. He felt broken, unable to reconcile the person he saw with the one Seungmin had once loved.

In the silence of the room, Minho whispered Seungmin's name, his voice hoarse and barely audible. It was as if he were confessing to the empty air, admitting all the things he should have said before it had all fallen apart.

As he stared at his tear-streaked reflection, memories began to swirl in his mind, pulling him back to the days when the younger was still by his side.

Flashback_

It was late summer, the sun bathing everything in a golden hue. Seungmin had a radiant smile on his face, the kind that made everything around them seem brighter. They were walking through a park, hand in hand, the world around them bustling with life, but Minho felt like they were in their own little bubble. Seungmin's thumb traced small circles on the back of Minho's hand, a gesture so simple yet filled with affection.
