Seungmin's POV:

Seungmin sat alone in his room, the glow from his phone screen was the only light in the room. He scrolled endlessly through social media, his thumb moving almost on autopilot. He saw images of flawless smiles, glamorous parties, and enviable lifestyles. Every post he saw made him feel more and more inadequate, each one reminding him of how different his life was from those he saw on his screen.

He couldn't escape the gnawing feeling that he was missing out. His classmates, particularly Minho and his group of friends, seemed to live in a different world-one full of high-fashion clothes, exciting parties, and a confidence that Seungmin could never have. Minho, with his charm, stood at the center of this world, radiating a charisma that Seungmin envied.

At school, Seungmin was branded a "freak". The taunts and whispers followed him wherever he went. He had only two friends, Jeongin and Felix, who stood by him despite the relentless bullying. Jeongin, always considerate and caring, had given up his popularity to be friends with Seungmin. Felix, Minho's younger brother, was equally supportive and kind, enduring teasing from his own friends just to stay close to the younger.

Yet, despite their support, he couldn't help but feel that he was fundamentally flawed. He often found himself wishing he could be someone else-anyone other than the "freak" he saw in the mirror. Most of all, he wished he could be someone like Minho, someone who seemed to have everything he yearned for effortlessly.

Minho's POV:

Minho, despite his confident look, felt an inexplicable tug whenever he was near Seungmin. From the moment he first noticed Seungmin in the hallways, a part of him was drawn to the quiet, introspective boy who seemed so out of place in the world of popularity that Minho inhabited. He was aware of the way Seungmin carried himself, how his eyes would dart away from the crowd, and how he seemed to be swallowed by his own insecurities.

Minho admired the younger's resilience and unique spirit, but he was too proud to confront his own feelings. Admitting he was drawn to someone so outside his social circle would crash the carefully maintained image he had made for himself. He was popular, confident, and admired by many-he couldn't be seen crushing on someone who was dubbed as a "freak."

Though Minho noticed the way Seungmin was targeted and bullied, he chose to turn a blind eye. He feared that acknowledging Seungmin's struggles would not only complicate his own life but also risk his reputation. Deep down, he felt guilty each time he saw the younger's loneliness and sadness, but his internal conflict kept him from taking any action. He remained at a distance, caught between the desire to reach out and the fear of disrupting his own world.

Seungmin's POV:

Seungmin sat on the edge of his bed, his phone resting in his hand. His thumb hovered over the screen as he stared at another photo of Minho, this time at a party, surrounded by his friends. Everyone in the picture looked happy, as if they didn't have a care in the world. Minho stood in the center, his smile bright and confident, the kind of smile that made Seungmin's chest tighten with a mix of envy and self-loathing.
