Minho sat at his cluttered desk in his small apartment, surrounded by textbooks, papers, and an overflowing coffee cup. The late evening light filtered through the window, casting a warm glow over the chaotic space. Despite the peaceful atmosphere, Minho's mind was a whirlwind of thoughts. He stared at his phone, the screen illuminated with a message from Seungmin, his boyfriend of over a year.

Seungmin's text was simple but carried the weight of unspoken words: "Hope you're doing okay. Miss you." Minho sighed and put the phone down, rubbing his temples. The truth was, he was drowning in assignments, part-time job shifts, and endless commitments. He loved the younger deeply, but the demands of his life left him feeling like he was perpetually falling short.

Across town, in the modest apartment Seungmin shared with a roommate, the mood was starkly different. The clock on the wall ticked away the silence as he sat alone on the couch, a half-eaten dinner on the coffee table in front of him. He stared at the door, hoping for a familiar knock, but each minute that passed only deepened his loneliness. He understood Minho's predicament, but it didn't ease the ache in his heart. He missed the older's presence, his laughter, and the moments they used to share without the constant interference of life's demands.

Minho lay in bed later that night, unable to sleep. The message from Seungmin replayed in his mind, echoing with a mix of guilt and doubt. He loved the puppy boy with a fierceness that often scared him, but lately, the weight of his responsibilities made it feel like their relationship was an additional burden. Was it fair to drag the younger into the chaos of his life, a life that seemed increasingly unsustainable?

The growing distance between them was evident, even if unspoken. Minho's heart ached as he contemplated the possibility that they might be too young to handle such intense emotions and responsibilities. He felt trapped between his love for Seungmin and the pressing need to focus on his own growth and stability. Every missed call, every unanswered text seemed to magnify the divide between them.

Seungmin, on the other hand, was grappling with his own insecurities. He sensed the older's growing detachment and was haunted by the fear that their relationship was becoming a strain. The thought that Minho might be overwhelmed to the point of questioning their future together made his heart race. Was their love strong enough to survive this phase of uncertainty, or was it simply becoming too difficult for them to manage?

As the night wore on, both Minho and Seungmin lay awake, each lost in their own thoughts, struggling to close the gap that seemed to widen with every passing day.
