CHAPTER 33
Vastness of Fire in His Lungs

Sinalubong ako ni Micay ng mahigpit na yakap pagdating ko sa office. Niyakap ko rin siya at ramdam ko ang sobrang stress niya sa ginagawa.

“Hey, are you okay?” I asked.

“Yeah but I've been feeling really stressed lately because I have so many things to do, and I'm not sure where to start.” Sagot niya at bumalik sa desk kung saan magulo ang mga gamit niya.

“Wag mo pilitin tapusin kung hindi mo kaya. Ano ba ang mas kailangan tapusin ngayon?”

Hinilot niya ang sentido at pinakita ang tablet na nakalagay sa editing app at may currently editing na graphics.

“We have a project where we will find or collaborate with a writer or author. Our goal is to encourage them to lend us the task of designing the cover for their desired book.” Explanation niya.

“May nahanap kana ba? Help kita kung wala pa.” Saad ko.

“Meron na. Kaya I asked for your help. Sakto ka kasi sa description ni Author sa physical appearance kaya I need your cooperation sana para ma-photoshoot kita para sa front cover.” Sabi niya at uminom ng tubig. “But, my problem is that the author wants the back cover to have the male lead and female lead designed. Unfortunately, I don't have a male lead that fits the description she provided.”

“Teka, edi parang ako ang gaganap na bida sa librong 'yon? Like, mismong picture talaga?” curious na tanong ko.

Wala naman issue sa'kin pero kasi baka mamaya lagyan nila TV adaptation tapos ako kunin na actress, jusko lelegwak talaga.

“Parang ganoon na nga, ayon kasi gusto ng Author eh. I asked if I could just sketch or lay out the characters, but she said she wants a realistic one. Is that alright with you?”

Nag-isip ako. Kung sino man ang mahanap ni Micay na male lead ay siyang makakapares ko. Sino naman kaya?

“Okay lang sa'kin, grades mo nakasalalay dito. Pero paano tayo maghahanap ng male lead?” sagot ko.

Nag-isip muna siya ng malalim bago magsalita. “I actually have someone in mind, but we'll need to change his looks a bit. He can also help us with the photoshoot so we can save some money.”

“Sino naman?”

“Si Z.”

Nanahimik ako at hindi nakapagsalita. Tama si Micay na malaki ang maitutulong niya sa photoshoot dahil may studio yung taong 'yon at hindi na namin kailangan mag-hire ng photographer. Pero, si ZL? Male lead... tapos ako yung loveteam niya... lol.

“Hindi ba 'yan busy? Baka mamaya guluhin natin siya tapos may gagawin pa lang importante.” Pagkumbinsi ko para makaiwas ako sa kanya.

“I'll try to talk to him niyan, sana pumayag kasi mababaliw na ako! Requirements namin ito sa finals.”

Sana hindi! Sana iba ang mahanap namin! Wag ngayon, sinusubukam ko na itigil 'tong nararamdaman ko pero kung lagi siyang malapit sa'kin at baka hindi na ako makapagtimpi.
