"But engagement" Prarthana pulled out from hug and asked.

"You don't have to worry about that, Rahul bhaiya and uncle send me here. I am sure they have something in their mind" he said pulling her back into the hug.

"Not at all" voice come from outside of the room and soon it got opened by Rahul walking in with Athiya and his parents.

"I just let you guys to confess your feelings, and Prarthana you are still getting engaged" Rahul said with strain voice, "and you Devdutt don't forget what you said infront of Mayank, she is still my sister did you forget" Rahul uttered looking at Devdutt hinting him the same stupid reason which was had given.

"What!?!" Both Devdutt and Prarthana were too shocked to react.

"Anna you can't do it?" Prarthana said as her voice quivered at end.

"I can and I will" he said with the hint of seriousness.

Prarthana eyes got moist as if she was ready to cry any moment.

"Rahul why are you scaring them? Prarthana you are getting engaged with Devdutt only, and it was all a plan. Kishore already engaged with someone" Athiya said as sense of relief washed over both Devdutt and Prarthana.

"What we are getting engaged?" Prarthana asked being little curious.

"Kyun nhi karna hai?" Rahul asked with calmness.

Prarthana looked at Devdutt only to see him already looking at her with curiosity. Prarthana raised her eyebrows asking what should she reply. Devdutt nodded his head.

"Karna hai na, jarur karna hai" Prarthana quickly responded. Everyone chuckled at her cuteness, her cheeks heated up but her eyes flickered as when realisation hit her like truck "What plan?" Prarthana asked as words of Athiya registered in her mind.

"For more than two years, you both suffered but didn't confessed your feelings for each other. Humne bhi socha Aaj nhi toh kal karenge but no. Tum log toh humse bhi jyada jiddi nikle so hum yeh decision pe aaye" Athiya said.

"Kon sa decision?" Devdutt asked.

"Agar piche aag lage gi toh tum aage aa kar confess karoge" Athiya said with smirk.

"My baby suffered so much without telling us anything, so we have to do something right" her mother come and kissed her forehead.

"Is my princess happy now?" Her father asked her as his hand rested on her head. "more than happy dad" she said hugging him.

"So let's call it night, already 12 baj gaye hai" Athiya said and everyone nodded.

There parents were first one to walk out, leaving youngsters behind.

"Thanks bhaiya" Devdutt said with smile. "Thanks rehne de, agar meri behan ke aankhon mein firse aansu aaye na toh bohot pitega mere haath se" Rahul warned him,

Devdutt nodded in agreement "I promise bhaiya, uski aankhon se kabhi bhi aansu nhi aayenge, agar aaye bhi toh woh sirf kushi ke honge"

Prarthana smiled at his words, saying she is happy would be understatement, she is on ninth cloud today.

"That's like my boy" Athiya patted his shoulder.

"Ab chal yahan se, meri behan ko sone de" Rahul said dragging Devdutt out from room. Athiya and Prarthana giggled at Rahul's sudden behaviour change.

"Good night baby" Athiya said before kissing Prarthana's forehead. "Good night bhabhi" after long time Prarthana had the genuine smile on.

Prarthana closed her room door. Walking to her bed she fall on it on face, "Ooo my godd, I am getting engaged to him" she screamed in her pillow while shaking her legs in air.

How strange right in afternoon she was crying for him now they are already together.

Prarthana's deep slumber got disturbed by morning sunlight. She squeezed her eyes and opened.

Rubbing her eyes she sat and looked around in search of her phone. Taking her phone she saw time. Which showed 8:25.

"Ahh I am late" she quickly jumped off she run to her bathroom.

Starting with her morning chores she finished her warm shower. Slipping into a kurthi and palazzo, her dupatta hanged on her neck, she walked out of her closet.

Combing her hair in ponytail she applied some moisturizer to her face and body lotion to her arms, sunscreen, lipbalm. She wore pair of earrings and a ring on ring finger.

She took her tote bag and wore her shoes.

She had promised Vaani to accompany her to book fair.

She walked out of her room, as she looked down from riling her eyes fell on Rahul and her dad which soon stopped on Devdutt.

Seeing Devdutt all incident of yesterday night flowed back to her, main importantly his sincere confession, making blood rush to her cheeks, she smiled shyly.

Shaking her head she walked down stairs. Smile still playing on her face.

"Good morning dad, good morning anna... good morning Devdutt" she said placing her bag on couch.

"Yelig hogtidiya amma?" her dad asked her placing newspaper on table.

"Going to book fair dad, Vaani will be here in some time" Prarthana said and walked to kitchen.

"Morning ledies" she said walking to kitchen counter where coffee mug is placed.

"Umm bhabhi I forget to tell, I am going to book fair with Vaani. Wanna join" she asked after taking sip from cup.

"Nhi tum jaake aao, I have to help mumma in preparation" Athiya said. "It's ok I guess" Prarthana said.
