Prarthana was drowned in her thoughts, but her phone notification disturbed her.

There was messages from Devdutt.

So rahi ho?

Prarthana
Nhi kyun?

It didn't took her seconds to reply making Devdutt smile thinking his is not the only one who can't sleep.

Dev💖
Can I meet you?

Prarthana looked beside her, seeing Vaani asleep she again looked at her phone. With racing heart she replied.

Prarthana
I will come down

Devdutt quickly stood from his place, his sister who was sleeping beside him looked at him.

"Kya hua?" She asked him "kuch nhi mein pani pike aaunga, aap so jao" he mumbled and quickly come out from the room. He was waiting in living room with racing heart.

Slowly taking away the comforter from her she wore her slippers. She looked at time in her phone which showed 10:55.

She slowly walked out without making any sound. Closing the door of her room she started to climb down the stairs.

When she reached down stairs saw Devdutt already walking back and forth in living room.

"Kuch chahiye kya?" She asked coming near him.

He looked at her with thumping heart, it was his second time to see her in shorts. First time was when she moved to Mumbai.

He come out from his daze when she flickered her fingers near his face

"Haan tum" he said before pulling her close to him.

"Devdutt– " "shhhh" he shushed her before she complete.

Englufing her in his arms he back hugged her resting his head on her shoulder.

"It still feels so surreal for me" he mumbled resting his back against the backside of the couch.

"You think it's any different for me?" Prarthana said while her head rested on his chest.

Comfortable silence englufed in air, while both stood in silence with eachother warmth. Unspoken feelings lingered in air with calmness of their heart.

"Prarthana..." He mumbled near her ear making shiver run down her spine. She still can't believe whatever happening in her life and now this close proximity.

"Hmm" she hummed in response. "I know I don't deserve you but please don't leave me, if I make you feel hurt or disappointed in future you can slap me, scold me, be angry but don't leave me" he said tightening his arms around her.

Prarthana made his arms loose around her. Devdutt frowned looking at her but she turned to face him.

"You can't even imagine, how I spent my two years without you" she said cupping his cheeks in her plams.

Devdutt placed his forehead on her's taking deep breath, she looked into his eyes. She can easily see the admiration and affection in his eyes.

Her eyes sparkled in dim light, he can see happiness through her deep brown eyes.

He placed his plams on her cheeks in reflexe her hands slipped to his neck.

"Prarthana... Can I" he breathed out staring deeply into her eyes. She nervously glupped. Not like she didn't want it but she is too nervous in the moment.

She nodded in response, "I need words angle" he said, smirk played on his lip at the moment.

"Dev..." She whined as she looked at him with those puppy eyes. Devdutt raised his one eyebrow.

"I. I mean Devdu-" before she could complete she felt her lips sealing with tender smoothness.

She closed her eyes in realisation, Devdutt's lips moved on Prarthana's with gentleness. Their lips meet in a gentle, tender kiss, the room enveloped in a quiet intimacy.

As they pull away, a smile plays on their lips, both knowing that this moment will be etched in their memories forever.

"Just call me Dev" he said snuggling into nap of her neck.

Pulling out from him she placed her hands on his chest. "Good night" she said as she turned to leave. "Good night love" she looked back at him with gapping lips.

He smiled before ruffling her hair.

Walking to her room, Prarthana snuggled into her devut with never ending smile. As her thought about her first ever kiss she literally kicked her feets in air and her cheeks turning crimson.

Butterflies danced not in her tummy but in heart too. She was busy in celebrating her moment she had with Devdutt but she heard Vaani words –

"Agutte akka, en munde ennu tumba agutte" she smirked looking at her.
