Y/N expected the first half of the school day to drag on, considering they had to be seated and listen to adults rant about whatever topic the school deemed necessary for heroes in training to learn.
But it went surprisingly quick, it wasn't too long until lunch time rolled around.

Y/N got up from her desk, putting her bag on her shoulder before starting to make her way towards the door. Her shoulder was tapped on lightly, so she turned around and smiled towards the one who sought out her attention.

A kind featured girl, with short brown hair and a matching set of eyes. She looked excited and had a green haired boy beside her, who looked just as welcoming as she did.
"Hi! I'm Ochaco Uraraka, it's nice to meet you" she greeted happily, looking at the male that stood beside her, as if cuing him to speak.

"We were wondering if you wanted to sit with us during lunch? I know being the new student might be a little tough, but we'd be happy if you joined us. Oh! And my name is Izuku Midoriya" he ranted, his face heating up in both embarrassment and fluster when the new student sent her smile his way. She really was pretty now that he got a closer look.

Y/N reached into her pocket, fishing out a coin before flipping it, once it landed she glanced at the outcome. Wordlessly, she bowed towards the two and made her way outside of the classroom alone, leaving the duo incredibly confused.

"Maybe she's shy, Deku" Uraraka said, and Midoriya nodded in agreement. He was a tad disappointed, however, he wanted to get to know the girl. She looked kind enough, and he also wanted to know what her quirk was.

Todoroki got up and also headed out of the classroom, speed walking in the direction Y/N went. He wanted to ask her something about that day at the playground, but of course with his luck, he couldn't see a sign of her. He spent half of his lunch time trying to look for her, but gave up to at least eat something before classes went back in session.

Y/N was provided with lunch by her current caretakers that she had been placed with. The bento had been carefully wrapped up, and the quiet girl was happy about that. She didn't want to think about how long going through the lunch line would take, not when she wouldn't know what to choose.

She picked up her chopsticks, eating quietly and slowly just as her caretakers had instructed of her.
It took her a while to register that she could eat without being ordered to, although she had broken that habit, it was a struggle for her to do anything without being told to do so. She was trying hard, but still leaned heavily on her coin to make the tougher decisions for her.

As she leaned her back against the tree she sat by, a single butterfly fluttered near her. The girl watched contentedly as the creature landed atop a blade of grass, before departing back up and into the tree.

Soon enough, lunch was over and Y/N made her way back to the classroom after putting her bento into her bag. Once back into her assigned seat, Aizawa stood at the front of the room.
"For your hero course today, we will be taking a little bit of a trip." He started, before holding up a card with the word "rescue" scribbled on.
"This is the sole duty of heroes. It's not just about fighting villains, civilians always come first no matter what. You all will be undergoing rescue training, such as practice recon missions for the aftermath of natural disasters. Now, hurry up and get your costumes on. L/N, I have yours right here" Aizawa continued, before holding up a case for said girl.
