A/N: I hope you all are enjoying the book so far :) I would like to take the time to explain Y/N's quirk a little more in depth before we begin the next chapter ❤️
Flowers:
Y/N has full control and manipulation over flowers, growing them out of objects, as well as summoning them where she pleases. She is also able to teleport through her petals, though once she's teleported or used those petals once, they shrivel up and die so they cannot be used to teleport through a second time.
Y/N can morph her body to look like a gust of wind carrying a large group of petals, traveling through them to charge unsuspecting enemies, she normally creates her petals to be sharp enough to cut through what she pleases.
Her healing flower takes up a lot of her energy, as she uses her own health to transfer to the wounded. This is something she is still getting the hang of, having picked up this skill from living with the Kocho sisters at the butterfly estate.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask me, I know I'm not very good at explanations and that might've been confusing. But other than that, please enjoy the next chapter 👻🎻

"My my~ you sure got yourself in rough shape, Eraserhead" Shinobu said with a smile, watching as the estates nurses set the injured hero on the bed.
Aizawa groaned in both pain and annoyance, he argued the entire way to the butterfly estate, he wound much rather get better with recovery girl. But her treatments would take longer than three days, and the homeroom teacher wanted to be back in class the day his students went back to school.
So there he was, glaring daggers at the woman who didn't seem to care about the annoyed look pointed her way.
"Just hurry up with the treatment, Kocho. The sooner I leave the better."
"Are you grumpy because you got thrashed around in front of your students? I know that must be a tad embarrassing, but taking it out on me seems a little harsh! If you keep that up, people will have a hard time liking you, Mr. Aizawa" Shinobu said, making the poor man even more irked.
"Shinobu, leave the poor man alone please. He's been through so much already" Kanae scolded lightly, walking towards the man, her calm smile putting him at ease quickly. Y/N trailed behind her, a matching smile on her face as well.
"Recovery Girl said you wanted to return to work in three days time, so I suppose we should start your treatment right away" Kanae said, sitting at Aizawa's bed side.
Y/N looked at her homeroom teacher and bowed politely, to which the man pointed his pained gaze at her now.
"L/N. I was informed of your actions at USJ, not only stabling my condition until helped arrived, but also saving quite a few people against the villains. While I'm not allowed to condone any of you fighting villains without your license, you have earned a lot of my respect and gratitude."
Y/N's eyes widened in surprise at his words, she had never been spoken to so nicely by anyone except for the Kocho sisters. She quickly wiped the surprise off of her face and bowed in gratitude.
"Y/N, you've done such a good job. Would you like to help with Eraserheads treatment?" Kanae asked the younger girl, who nodded in agreement and moved to the other side of the heroes bed to use her healing flower.

"His bandages can be removed in two days, I'm sure he will be very grateful that he can return to teach your class without being constricted" Kanae said to Y/N, looking to the bandaged, sleeping man.
Night had fallen not too long ago, the wounded heroes that had sought treatment at the butterfly estate were all resting in their own rooms peacefully. The quiet clinic was always served as a safe zone, and it was quite popular for the higher ranking heroes to recover in peace.
Y/N smiled at the oldest sister, hands resting on her lap before she got up from her chair once she saw Kanae doing the same.
"A big fight on your first day of school? I'm sorry you had to go through that, Y/N. But you returned safely and unharmed, and I am very proud of you" Kanae started as the two girls walked out of the medical building and outside to look at the gently flowing pond.
"Did you make any friends?"
Y/N smiled softly, looking at the ripples of water, "I don't believe so. A lot of them were nice, and some of them weren't. I didn't talk with any of them, except one."
"You just need time, you'll make a lot of great friends soon enough. And then you'll meet a cute boy who will open that shell of yours."
It wasn't the first time Kanae had said something like that, she first mentioned a 'special boy' the first week of rehabilitation. Y/N never questioned it, up until now that is.
"What do you mean by that?"
Kanae gently ran her hand through the shorter girls hair, putting Y/N at ease as the oldest Kocho sibling spoke. "Maybe boys will bring you flowers, but someday, you'll meet a boy who will learn your favorite flower. Learn your favorite song, your favorite dessert. Even if he can't get you all of those things, it won't matter because he has taken the time to know you like no one else does. And only when that happens, that boy will earn your heart."
Y/N's mind immediately had a flash of the red and white haired boy that stopped her outside of the school that day. The same boy from the park a few years ago.
"Come on, let's get some sleep. Another day of attending patients tomorrow" Kanae said, making her way towards their part of the butterfly estate.
Y/N looked up at the stars that scattered along the huge night sky, her eyes following a shooting star that zoomed through like a falling petal.
How could someone possibly earn her heart, if she hadn't even opened it for herself yet?
