"You're cutting it all wrong you dumbass!" Bakugou yelled, aggressively chopping at the chives.

As promised by the cat themed heroes, the students were responsible for their dinner.

Y/N shook her head at Bakugou's yelling voice directed towards her boyfriend, cutting the carrots for the curry.

"The training today was so tiring, I haven't felt like this since the sports festival" Uraraka said in exhaustion, carrying the freshly cut meat to put in the pot.

"Miss Madalay mentioned to me about the hot springs open to us after dinner hours" Y/N said with a smile, placing the knife down and carrying the tray of carrots and adding them to the pot.

"That sounds like so much fun, we should head over there after we finish up here" Yaoyorozu replied in excitement. The other girls quickly agreed with her while Y/N stirred the pot. Bakugou aggressively dumped the chives in, ignoring Y/N's small 'thanks' as he speed walked away to set up the table.

"Smells good, I don't think I've ever been this hungry before" Shoto said, walking up beside Y/N and looked down at the pot. She laughed lightly, the girl moving to manually put out the fire Shoto had set for the curry, but an icy breeze quickly extinguished it for her.

"That's because you worked hard" Y/N said, looking over her shoulder to look at the half and half boy.
"Are you going to the hot springs?"

Shoto blushed crazily, looking off to the side. He could swear his fingertips on his left hand was steaming, close to igniting.

"Like...together?"

Y/N blinked owlishly before looking up in thought.
"I think there's a wall separating the girls from the boys."

"Oh, that's what you meant. I believe so."

Y/N huffed a laugh, grabbing a bowl while the rest of the class excitedly started to line up for their servings.
The girl handed Shoto his bowl, serving herself one and the two headed towards a more secluded spot away from the dining area.

"Shoto, how have you and your father been lately?" Y/N asked, grabbing her spoon. Shoto clicked his tongue at the thought of his old man.

"He's been acting weird and different. It's like he's trying to redeem himself but doing a terrible job at it" he mumbled grimly, before propping his head up with the palm of his hand, elbow on his leg while his other hand held his utensil.
"Does not being so forgiving make me a bad person?"

Y/N hummed at his question, her eyes moving from her food and towards the rambunctious class that all settled down to eat at the table that was set up for them.
"I don't think so. No one can really tell you otherwise because they haven't seen what you have. You can forgive him if you want on your own time."

Shoto nodded, leaning to the side to plant a small kiss on her cheek before continuing to eat.

"He was a little mad about Natsuo keeping him out of the house when you came over for dinner the other day. He keeps insisting on meeting the girl that's dating his prodigy, so he says. But I don't want him to meet you. Natsuo hasn't even introduced his girlfriend to our dad either."

"And that's okay, I don't have to meet him if you don't want me to" Y/N reassured.

Shoto turned to look at her, uncertainty across his face.
"I do feel bad. From the situation you've been in up until now, you at least deserve a normal partner in a normal situation. But I'm none of those things. I'm a curse, I knew it."

Y/N looked at him confusedly before putting her hand over her mouth to stifle the laugh at her clueless boyfriend.
"Some normalcy would be a little boring, don't you think? I could say the same for you anyway, Shoto."

He sat up straight and put his spoon down. He grabbed the girls hands in his and pulled her closer. Y/N looked at him in surprise, heart racing as her eyes locked onto his two toned ones.
"Don't say something like that. I don't know what I could ever do without you. So please, put up with me for a while, until you've had enough of me."

Y/N smiled softly, freeing her right hand from his and held up her pinkie for him.

"I'll promise to always be there for you. No matter what it takes."

Shoto sighed in relief, intertwining his pinkie with hers. They both leaned forward, their lips gently pressing together contentedly.

"I promise to love you unconditionally, Y/N" he whispered after they parted.
Y/N put her forehead against his, their hands atop each other.

Two poorly brought up kids was all each other needed, and they gladly accepted the company.
