The practical exams were tougher than everyone had predicted. But nothing could prepare them for having to battle actual pro heroes.

Though they all did well, a few teams were unable to take down their assigned opponent, which lead them to be devastated for having to miss out on the summer training camp. Until Aizawa did a grand reveal that they were still welcomed, but would have to do some extra work.

Y/N had stopped her training to watch Todoroki and Yaoyorozu's match against Mr. Aizawa, as well as watched Bakugou and Midoriya go head to head with All Might.

But after the exams were finished, Y/N had a lot of work ahead of her. She was gaining her strength back slowly day by day. Shoto was helping the girl train as well, making sure to take it easy as to not injure her further.

It had been four days of hard work until the doctors deemed Y/N physically well enough to participate in physical activity. So it was finally her turn to take the exam.

"As all of you should know, L/N was unable to take part in the practical exam. But, we got the go ahead, and she'll be taking her exam today. That leads to the question. All of you were given a partner, and L/N needs one. This won't affect the scores given to you during your exams, so is there any volunteers to partner with her?"

Todoroki was already raising his hand along with a few others, but one hand raised quicker than the rest.

"First hand up was Bakugou. You two get into your costumes and head out to the course, the rest of you will be watching."

Shoto blinked at the outcome before narrowing his eyes at the violent blonde firecracker. He had been sending those looked towards him ever since Y/N said the flower came from him when she was discharged from the hospital.

Y/N noticed Shoto was the only one sitting, everyone else leaving the classroom after wishing her good luck. She gently tapped his shoulder, making him quickly look up at her with a clueless expression.

"Are you going to watch?" Y/N asked with a smile. Shoto huffed, the hair in his face moving in sync with his breath before grumpily standing up from his chair.
His mood relaxed immediately when Y/N held onto his hand as they walked out of the room, she really had him at the palm of her hand.

Y/N stood beside Bakugou as Aizawa explained the test to the girl. The blonde was quiet for once, which had the girl glancing at him once in a while.

"Now, as for the hero you'll be facing, we actually had a volunteer. And of course the fool wanted to make an entrance."

Y/N's eyes landed on a slowly falling red feather, before she looked up and saw a man with huge red wings.

Bakugou smirked, a deep chuckle resonating from him.
"Damn Hawks huh?" He questioned in excitement for the fight.

"Hey there kiddos. Once I heard Mirko has high hopes for her little pupil here, thought I'd see for myself. So go ahead and give it all ya got yeah?" Hawks asked as he flapped his wings, staying above the duo.

Shoto silently sighed in relief. He really thought his dad was going to just pop out of nowhere when the teacher mentioned someone specifically wanted to fight her.
