The disaster of USJ died down the moment the heroes arrived, Iida having successfully calling for backup in a quick manner.

Y/N smiled softly before heading towards the exit, straightening up her uniform that Bakugou had messed up due to grabbing her so carelessly.

Todoroki watched her leave, his gaze going from her and to the messy aftermath of the fight, and then back to her.
She really just fought and said 'see ya later'?

Bakugou stormed off as well, the heroes sweeping the area to tend to the injured, who only happened to be Aizawa, Thirteen, All Might and Midoriya.

The injured were all loaded into ambulances, and the students arrived back to school, who were then sent home when they were deemed medically fit.
Y/N stepped out of the school, a lot of the students went into the medical office to check up on their classmate, aside from a handful of them.

"L/N."

Y/N turned to the sound of her last name, spotting Todoroki walking in her direction. She smiled politely, bowing respectfully before turning back around to continue on her way.

"Wait, I need to talk to you for a moment."

Y/N faced him once again, and he took it as his cue to speak.

"Do you remember who I am?"

Y/N blinked once at his question, her hand going into her blazer pocket and taking out her trusted decision maker.
Now it was Todoroki's turn to look confused, and he watched silently as the girl flipped the coin before catching it on the back of her hand.

She looked back up to the two colored haired teen, soft smile still present.
"I don't believe so, I apologize for any inconvenience that might cause. Farewell."

Todoroki blinked, and he was sure his heart skipped a few beats there as well. He didn't expect her voice to sound like that, she was so quiet and soft spoken, but it was as gentle as she looked.

He was so immersed in his thoughts, he didn't register that she was already walking away, and she was some distance ahead already.
"Hey- wait!" He exclaimed, jogging to catch up.

He kept his strides the same speed as hers, walking beside the girl as she played with the coin in her hands.

"It was some time ago, seven years I think. It was at a park, and it was snowing that night too" Todoroki began to explain, and that was not helping the girl remember at all. She had been outside many snowy nights, narrowing it down would be kind of tricky.

"You gave me a flower you grew from a snowflake."

Okay, that narrowed it down quite a bit, she remembered that well. She didn't remember the boys features from that night very well, he had been hidden by his winter coats hood. But the flower? She could remember that clearly. It was the very first time she had made a decision for herself.

"Yes, I do recall that night now" Y/N confirmed.

"Why did you do that for?" He asked, he stopped walking and looked at the girl. She stopped walking after a few more steps, turning to look at the boy.

'Shoto had his knees to his chest still, watching as the girl caught the snowflake, a beautiful flower growing from it soon after. She walked in the direction Shoto was sitting until she was right in front of him. She kneeled down, handing the flower to him. She had bruises on her skin, tiredness was evident in her eyes, but Todoroki took the flower nevertheless. She got up and left without a word, and Shoto didn't have the courage to call out to her.'

"You started to look like me. Someone who felt no sadness, anger, or happiness. An empty shell, with no point in living. I didn't want you to feel that way, so I did the only thing I knew how to do and grew a flower for you" Y/N replied, to which Shoto's eyes widened in response.
There was a few beats of silence in between them, before the quiet girl spoke again, "I'm glad, you haven't snapped away your emotions after all."

Y/N continued to walk after explaining herself, Shoto following suit.
He didn't know what kind of answer he was expecting, but it surely wasn't that.
He didn't want to mention that he had frozen the flower to keep it preserved, and it was currently sitting on his desk at home, so he opted to questioning more about her other characteristic.

"Why do you flip a coin before speaking? Or doing anything really?"

"I flip the coin when I am not given orders and faced with a decision. Like before, I flipped to decide whether or not I should speak with you."

"Do you really need a coin to decide for yourself? What about what you want?"

"It doesn't matter what I want."

Todoroki frowned at that, he knew that all too well, but he wasn't broken to this extent. What exactly happened to this girl to make her act like this?
Was it even his business to say something like, 'I know I just ambushed you and all, but how about you throw that dumb coin away and think for yourself for now on?'
He knew it wasn't his place to say something like that.
He wasn't at UA to make friends, but seeing her again, he had to ask why she gave him that flower. And he got his answer already, so why was he still following her?

They were reaching the city limits, and Shoto had to head home sooner or later. He stopped and watched her continue down her route home without a word.

He turned down his street, looking down at the pavement as he walked.

Why the hell was he still thinking about her?

Y/N arrived home, it was a beautiful estate that had butterflies fluttering gracefully. The estate was very well hidden from the public, deep in the woods that was beside Musutafu. It was quite the walk from the city, but Y/N enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The girl stepped through the large gates, smiling at the few nurses that were aiding the wounded.

"Oh, welcome home Y/N. How was your first day?" One of her two caretakers asked.
Shinobu Kocho, a very smart woman who was one of the two founders of the butterfly estate.

The butterfly estate is a remote medical clinic for wounded heroes. It was a great spot for injured heroes to heal and rehabilitate without the attention of the media.

"It was good" Y/N answered, leaving out the literal attack that landed on her class during a school trip.

"You look so tired Y/N, I put your dinner in the oven to keep it warm. Wash up and eat whenever you'd like" Kanae Kocho called with a smile, Y/N's second caretaker and Shinobu's older sister.

Y/N walked into the estate quietly for the sake of the few sleeping heroes that were recovering.

"We're getting Eraserhead here soon, Miss Shuzenji just notified us" Shinobu said to her sister.

"Such a stubborn man, I can only imagine he's throwing a fuss on his way here" Kanae said, getting a bed ready as she spoke.

Seemed like Kanae and Shinobu would learn what happened during her hectic school day after all.
