Trigger Warnings:
Self farm/ Mentions of Suicide

🌱🌹🥀

Y/N's eyes slowly opened, her world around her blurry for a few short moments, before regaining focus.

She attempted to sit up but slumped back onto the bed when pain engulfed her body. She could hear the beeping machines beside her bed and the steady pump of an oxygen tank.
Y/N slowly reached for her oxygen mask, taking it off of her mouth and finally took breaths of  fresh air.

She closed her eyes as she tried to remember the events leading up to her current situation. She was at the hospital and not the butterfly estate getting treatment.
And then the realization finally hit her.

'That's right'

Y/N finally built up the energy to sit herself up, leaning her back against the headboard. She didn't know what she looked like at the moment. But the feeling of her fingertips brushing up against the sore skin of her face, a bandage on her cheek and temple. She could already picture herself a bruised and cut up individual.

The door opened, a nurse peaking in with a shocked expression.

"Hold on sweetheart, I'll get the doctor!"

Y/N watched the woman rush back out of her room, before looking down at her cut up hands.
She felt all alone again.

"You had severe head trauma from the explosion, so we had to put you into a medically induced coma for a little more than a week. As for your current state, we did have to perform emergency surgery due to the internal bleeding. As you can see here on your tests, you had several broken ribs piercing your lungs, as well as many of your joints either broken or dislocated. We did have to give you stitches in some areas, most notably on your left shoulder as well as your stomach. Your most fatal wound came from a metal piece impaling your midsection. To be quite honest, there's no good reason as to how you're still alive. Even with all our talented doctors."

Y/N half listened, her gaze pointed towards the window and looking out to the city, continuing on like normal. When the doctor finished speaking, she looked towards the man and nodded once, showing him she understood.

He looked at the girl for a moment longer, before bowing a little and heading out of the room, the nurses hot on his tail.

"She's ready for visitors now."

Shota Aizawa walked into the room, his dark eyes on the misfortunate girl who sat in her hospital bed.
When he got word that she had finally woken up, he stopped he had Mic take over in class in favor of heading over to check on her.
He could remember vividly the way he had to pull her out of the rubble with the help of medical personnel.
He never wanted to see any of his students in such situations, but there he was.

He slowly approached the girl, taking a seat at her bedside. She finally looked to him, the teacher never thought he'd see the day Y/N not smiling.

"My mind is a little foggy. But, they're both gone right?" Y/N asked, making the older man stumble internally to collect his thoughts.
Breaking the tragic news was one of the worst things heroes had to do. And it didn't help that he was hurting from the casualties too, especially his old friend Shinobu.
