Sarah and I remained in the dimly lit room, the silence heavy with contemplation. My mind raced, the spark of determination in my eyes growing as I grasped the enormity of what we were up against.

This is bigger than anything we've faced before

The walls seemed to close in, bearing the weight of our unspoken fears and hopes. We were trapped, not just by the room, but by the web of deceit we had to untangle.

Suddenly, the door creaked open, and Luka stepped in, his presence filling the small space. His usually confident demeanor was shadowed by worry. "Sarah, Y/N, we need to talk."

I felt a chill run down my spine.

Luka never looks worried. This must be serious,

Sarah straightened, her eyes narrowing with concern. "What's happened, Luka?"

Before he could respond, the door swung open again, revealing Volcov and our father. Volcov's stern face softened only slightly as he took in the sight of us. Their father, normally a pillar of strength, looked weary but resolute. The lines on his face seemed deeper, etched by the gravity of the situation.

Something's terribly wrong,

"We've gathered everyone here for a reason," Their father began, his voice steady but grave. "There's a mole within our ranks. Someone close to us has been feeding information to the enemy. Although dead, it seems to have a domino effect"

My eyes widened, my heart pounding in my chest.

A mole?

Among us?

I exchanged a glance with Sarah, who looked equally stunned.

"What? How much damage is going to be done?" I whispered, the single word laden with fear and suspicion. My mind raced, sifting through faces and memories, searching for signs of betrayal.

Volcov stepped forward, his jaw clenched. "We don't know yet, but we're close to finding out. This mole has put all of us in danger, and we need to act swiftly."

Sarah stood up, her resolve hardening. I could see the fire in her eyes, mirroring my own growing determination. "What do we need to do?"

Their father sighed, his shoulders heavy with the weight of his words. "We need to be vigilant, trust no one outside this room, and work together to uncover the mole's identity. Our family's safety depends on it."

Luka nodded, his worry transforming into determination. "We have a plan. Volcov and I will handle the external threats."

As the weight of our mission settled over us, I felt a renewed sense of purpose. The shadows that loomed over us were daunting, but I knew we had the strength to face whatever lay ahead.
