I think things with Trent and my family went beyond well. My dad instantly took to him; Trent offering to help with Christy car sealed the deal. He called me this morning to let me know Trent took her car. During our conversation he talked about how Trent was a step ahead of him the whole time, said a man who took initiative is a good one. Which I already knew that about him.

Christy and Kat like him too; they were both surprised at how easily Mason took to him. My sweet nephew takes a long time to warm up to people especially to men. It just melted my heart to watch him help the little guy put his shoes on. But seeing them hold each other hands out to the car, my heart was a puddle. Then Trent reassuring Mason that they would see each other later was just the icing on the cake.

You know how they say kids are the best judges of character? Well I truly believe that when it come to my nephew and niece. If anyone can tell if someone is trust worthy, it's them two.

None of my ex's ever got along with all of my family like this. There was always at least one of them that would have something negative to say. They were mostly just being protective of me.

My last boyfriend, was the type of guy who wanted his girl to be quiet and look pretty. I already have a hard time with letting people walk all over me, but when it's someone I have feelings for it's even worse.

With Trent it's not like that, he never makes me feel like my opinions mean nothing. He wants to know about my likes and dislikes. He wants to make sure my voice is heard. He takes care of me in ways no one has besides my family. He makes me feel loved. Which is a completely scary thought. I've never been in love before, I have no clue how I would even bring up the topic.

Does he feel the same about me? I know he cares about me. He shows me that, but to put into words how you feel about someone is a lot harder.

My mind is still racing when I pull up to Trent house. Tonight we decided to just order pizza and finish our Harry Potter marathon. We only have the last four movies left so, we might be able to at least watch two.

Once again before I even get out of my car, Trent is waiting for me on his front step. When he does things like this, it makes all my unnamed feeling burn even brighter.
"Hey Baby" I says over my shoulder has I reach into the back seat to get my little tote bag. I didn't want to stay in my work clothes if we were going to have a lazy evening. I brought my cow print shorts and a t-shirt. I also bought a new pair of house shoes to keep over here. My feet get really cold and his hardwood floors don't help.

"Hey Sweetness, do you need help with anything?" He doesn't even let me answer he just grabs my bag then leads me inside. As soon as the door was closed I took my things back.

"What's all that for?"

I don't waste a second in putting my new house shoes on when I take my black flats off. I didn't even take the price tag off. "I hope you don't mind, but I brought these to keep over here. My feet get so cold when I'm walking around or when I'm cooking. I thought it would be nice to have a pair here. I also brought me a change of clothes so I would be comfier." After my rambling I bend down to take the tag off but Trent beat me to it. He rests on one knee wrapping his large hand around my ankle, then ripping the tag off with the other.

"You can bring anything you want over here. I don't care if it is new or from your place. I want you to feel at home here, okay?" I nod with a small smile. I love that he wants me here.

"Thank you Baby. I'm going to go change, will you call the pizza in?"

He stands back on his feet but never removes his hands from my body. Making goosebumps dance across my skin. He steps a little close with a smirk. He knows how much I like his hands on me. "I already ordered it. Go change I'll get us something to drink." I give him a quick peck then do as I'm told.
