Just like every other time I come to Kacey's apartment complex I park beside her. It's always open and I like to do a quick walk around her car to make sure everything looks okay. I know that if anything was wrong with her car she would tell me. It is just a habit I have; after my inspection I make my way to her front door.

Listening to Kacey talk about her sister and her kids last night made me see their family dynamic in a whole new light. I couldn't imagine watching my sister work two jobs while her husband did nothing.

Kacey tries to be at every event for the kids, but today is the first time I will be going with her. This is Masons first year playing t-ball, she said that it is mostly five year olds running around. Although the coaches help keep things from getting too out of hand.

I don't get to tap my knuckles on Kacey's door a second time, before she pulls it open with a force that makes her dark curls blow back. "Hey Baby."
Her eyes look puffy with sleep, but she has a bright smile on.

"Hey Sweetness, did you just wake up?" I kiss her check and step inside. Her shoes are sitting by her couch waiting to be put on. Lowering myself on to her coffee table while she shuts the door. She doesn't even question me as she steps toward the couch and sets her toned calf into my out stretched hand.

"Yeah I over slept a little bit. Someone kept me out all night." She gives me a playful wink knowing I practically begged her to stay last night. I almost had her talked into it but she said she was going to have to come here anyways for a change of clothes.
I tickled the back of her knees as I set her now shoe covered feet down. "Not my fault you left, you need to bring some clothes to keep at my place in case this happens again." My mouth was moving faster than my head could keep up.
Honestly after she brought those house shoes then needed to borrow a shirt. I have been thinking about her bring stuff all night.

"I mean if you want to, you don't have to." I can feel tension building in my shoulders. That might have been way to forward. I haven't even told her I love her and now I'm telling her to move stuff over. What the heck is wrong with me?

Kacey just smiles at me, scooting to the edge of the cushions. "That might not be a bad idea." She gives me the lightest kiss possible then stands. I stand with her then thread my fingers through her soft hair at the base of her head. We lock eyes then mine drop to her lips. She never wears lipstick but always has lip balm. She has a pet peeve about chapped lips. I drop my head brushing my lips against hers. Her kiss was just a tease and I needed more. I feel her delicate fingers grab the back on my shirt, then she presses herself against me.

My lungs burn with a need for oxygen as we continue to match each other's need to be close. She moans into the kiss, getting on her tippy toes for a better angle. I break free with a deep sigh, resting our fore heads together. I want to sit on her small couch and hold her for the rest of the day. But she already promised Mason we were coming to his game and I'd rather not break that promise.

"We need to get going." Kacey whispers but doesn't move from my embrace. I give her one more peck then motion her to the front door.

The little league fields are packed full of parents and players. There was a game going on for every age group, some getting ready to start and some in the final endings. The small t-ball field was in the middle of all the action.

We spotted T-bone and Kat first, both stretched out in camp chairs facing first plate. I move Kacey in front of me as we make our way to them. I'm carrying a chair for each of us and she is carrying a small cooler with drinks and snacks for everyone.

Kat notices us first and jumps to her feet. "It's about time you got here. You know I can't watch these games with out my snacks. Its like watching a movie without popcorn." Kacey just laughs at her sister then hands her the bag of goodies. Kat is obviously the goofy one out of the three of them. "Sorry, I over slept. Where is Christy and the babies?" We both start looking around, not seeing her.
