The most stressful things about planning a wedding would be the day before. Between the decorating, rehearsal, and making sure everything ready for the big day. It can be exhausting, but it is my favorite part of this job. All your hard work and planning comes to an end, and you are left with a day you will never forget.

Kayla and I met this morning to get a head start on the decorating. The rest of her family will be here any minute and so will Alex and his parents. We are setting chairs out when she breaks the silence. "I'm so glad you and Bub are okay now. I know Brittany was nasty to you, I'm sorry." It wasn't her fault, but I have to know why she was still friends with just a horrible girl.

"It wasn't your fault, I'm just glad we worked everything out. Can I ask you a question?" She takes a seat with a nod. I followed her lead. "Why are you friends with her? She was awful to your brother and she doesn't seem like that good of a friend." She really didn't. She was always canceling on Kayla, never helping besides the shower.

"Well we have known each other for as long as I can remember. She isn't as bad as she seems, but if I'm honest we don't have the friendship we had before her and Bub dated. When they split it was a relief. They weren't right for each other. Bub was upset about not going to school. She was living her dream. It just seemed like they had to be together, even if they were miserable. I don't know why she is acting like they were perfect."

I can tell their relationship effected them more then Trent realized. I'm sure if she knew the whole story things would be much different but its not my place to say.
"Why didn't Trent go to school when your dad came back to work?" If I asked him about it he was brush it off but I know Kayla would be upfront with me.

"Because that's just the kind of guy he is. The shop was dad's dream, and Bub wasn't going to let anything happen to it. I think he is worried to leave Dad alone, like something might happen again if he wasn't there." She took a deep breath then continued. "The day he got hurt Bub just happen to be there. If he had been trapped under that truck any longer be probably wouldn't be waking me down the aisle tomorrow." Her voice cracks making me wrap my arms around her. I didn't know his accident was that bad.

"Bub is smart and talented, but he puts the people he loves above himself no matter what. I don't think there as ever been anyone to really put him first." I want to be that person, I want to make his hopes and dreams come true. "Thank you for answering me, I didn't mean to upset you. I just know you would be honest with me." I squeeze her again.

"Anytime. Kacey I want you to know I really value our friendship. Not just the work you done for us but you being there for me. I'm so glad we will remain friends after this." Now is my turn to overflow with emotions."I feel the same way. Now let wipe our tears and get back to setting up for your big day!" Laughing we both stand get back to it.

As I watch the flouriest unload all the center pieces into the barn I can't help bounce with excitement. Each flower bringing live to the space. With a quick signature the delivery driver leaves as Trent pulls in. He wanted to drive me here this morning but I told him not to bother because I needed to bring things from my office. He was not happy about it but understood. I watch as he makes his way to me, with my favorite jeans that fit him perfectly and a black t-shirt. But the best part was the backwards hat. Why does he look so good with that hat?

"Hey Sweetness, how is it going?" He gives me a smile that makes my chest feel warm. "Hey Baby, things are going good. I'm happy to have my big strong man here to help me though." I give him a kiss and wrap my arms around his waist. He gives me a bone crushing hug back, making me giggle. "At your service milady."

By the time we had all the aisle runners put in place the rest of both families arrived. Both Rose and Jennifer smiling and chopping at the bit to help. "Kacey honey it is beautiful in here. What can we do to help?" Rose says as she wraps an arm around me looking around.
