I was inspired by Fireslash97's Halo X Male odst reader. so I thought might make my own. This story takes places during Reach all the way up to Halo 4. cause we don't speak about Halo 5.
"Wait, go back." said Cortana while the Master Chief puts Cortana in the holo-projector and her avatar appears.
"That's what I thought he said. The Prophet of Regret is planning to activate Halo!"
"Are you sure?" asked Master Chief before Cortana snaps her fingers and the hologram of Regret that was singing the halo theme song starts speaking in English.
"I shall light this holy ring, release its cleansing flame, and burn a path into the divine beyond!" said the hologram of The Prophet of Regret before Cortana snaps her fingers again, and the hologram freezes.
"Pretty much." replied Cortana smugly.
"Commander, we've got a problem." said The master Chief.
"And a big one at that?" said Y/n over the coms while snapping a grunts neck.
"So I hear. But from what I understand, the Prophet will need an object, the Index, to activate the ring. I've located a Library similar to the one you found on the first Halo. If the rings work the same way, the Index should be inside." "" said Commander Keyes over the coms while on the bridge of the Amber Clad studying a hologram of the index before the hologram switched to Delta Halos libray
