A convoy of Scorpions, Warthogs, several Mongooses along with AMX-4 Falcons and two Pelicans advance across a bare plain.
Auntie Dot: "It appears that Noble Team's discovery last night was not an anomaly. Large Covenant deployments have occurred undetected, and we are now under attack across the Viery territory, including orbital defenses. As per the Winter Contingency, we are countering on every front. Noble's reconnaissance has also identified sophisticated Covenant army hiding canopies, and has been pinpointed what's believed to be a landing zone for additional Covenant forces, the origin of which is yet to be determined." Dot said while the Warthogs, led by Kat and Noble Six, charge towards the Covenant landing zone, followed by a group of Falcons. Carter is r on board a Falcon overlooking the Warthog driven by Kat. Noble Six rides shotgun in Kat's Warthog and on the gun is the marine Y/n.
"That landing zone has been tagged by UNSC command as a Priority One target." Carter said
"Det-charge link is loud and clear!" Jun said.
"Copy that. Acquiring signal lock on the pylon. Detonating in three, two..." Kat said before detonates the charge that was planted on the pylon the night before by Jun which in the distant pylon explodes banshees swoop down on the convoy and open fire, while Wraiths lob mortar rounds from a distance. The gunners on the Warthogs retaliate, firing at the Banshees. Wraith mortar rounds tear into the convoy and destroy several of the advancing vehicles. Kat, Y/n and Noble Six dodge the mortar fire, and turn towards a bridge across a deep chasm, but as they prepare to cross, a mortar round destroys the bridge.
"Incoming!" Noble six said
"Might want to hold onto something!" Kat said accelerating and the Warthog manages to jump the gap in the destroyed bridge, but crashes violently on the other side, knocking out Y/n out of the gunner seat and sending Kat and Noble Six flying. A second Warthog attempts to clear the gap in the bridge but fails, sending its screaming crew into the chasm. (a/n: If you listen carefully you can hear the Wilhelm scream during that cutscene)
"Six! Can you hear me? Six, you alright? I could use some help!" Kat said while Six grabs the Grenade Launcher on the ground.
"On my way." Noble Six said
Y/n Pov
After that hard landed I felt like I ran dead smack into a wall. After getting my out of my daze I look to my left before looking to my right to see Kat and Nobel six pushing up the hill but was Kat and Six encounter heavy resistance as they move up the hill but where encountering heavy residence from two Fuel Rod Shade variants and a few jackals and grunts. I snuck around while they focused on the Spartans they didn't see me coming from behind and open up on their asses taking out the turrets first before getting into one and blasting the rest of them away.
"You don't like that do ya?" I asked before getting out of the turret and met up with Kat and Six before a Pelican shows up with a Rocket Warthog before the coms crackled to life and I could hear Noble one's voice
"Kat, be advised: ONI has identified two hostile anti-aircraft guns southwest of your location." Noble one said
"Copy, Commander. New target, y/n, Six. Shut down those AA guns. Commandeer that Warthog, get us there in one piece." Kat said while I got on the gunner seat and Kat got in the passenger seat and Six got in the driver seat before we drove a short distance before arriving at the AA gun.
