Raven had been shockingly quiet the next week, because if she spoke she'd accidentally speak about a present she had gotten him because she was genuinely excited to be celebrating with him. This was the first time they were celebrating any birthday just the two of them so she wanted it to be special. It was Wednesday, the day before Rafe's birthday, as she prepared the final details for one of the gifts she had gotten him, he game up behind her, his hands roaming every inch of her body.

"Hmm, what're you doing?" She let out a small laugh, as she leaned against him, setting her phone on the counter.

"Could be asking you the same thing," He mumbled against the side of her head, planting a kiss on it.

"Finalizing one of your birthday presents," She smiled, letting herself sink into his touch.

"Can I know what it is now since my birthday is tomorrow?"

"No, it's not tomorrow yet, is it?" She smirked, turning to look at him.

"You're no fun," He rolled his eyes and she just laughed.

"How was work?" She touched his face gently.

"Boring, as per usual, what have you been doing all day?"

"Sims, finishing shit for tomorrow," She grinned again, trying to contain her excitement.

"You're more excited than I am," He let out a small and she shrugged.

"I get to celebrate you, I personally don't know any other way I'd wanna spend a Thursday."

"And I get to fucking worship you," He picked her up and set her on the kitchen counter.

"Like you don't already," She let out a laugh and he nodded, resting his head in the crook of her neck, "Your face is going to imprint into the side of my neck if you don't cut it out," Her laugh rang through his ears against, a smile forming.

"Then I'll always be with you."

"I'm literally marrying you, I don't think I'm going anywhere," She grinned, trying to stand her ground but she couldn't.

The words circled in his head, a huge smile started to form on his face. He was grateful for Raven, not only could she love him for him but he was going to have unconditional love the rest of his life. Something that he begged for his entire life, was finally sent to him.

"Just to make sure," He smirked, kissing her neck, then looking in her eyes.

"I love you but I have some shit to finish for your birthday tomorrow," She couldn't help but smile at him.

"Do it later," He rolled his eyes and she shook her head.

"No I don't think I will," She laughed, then gave him a small kiss, "Give me an hour and then we can go get dinner or something, alright?"

"Fine," He crossed his arms and sat at the island.

She hopped off the counter and made a phone call walking out of the room, then picked up a piece of paper that she was carrying around with her, trying to see if there was anything on it for his birthday.

"No that's absolutely perfect thank you so much," She was in the other room he realized so he picked it up.

"Rafe stop trying to find things about your birthday you won't find the- RAVEN," He yelled, hearing a giggle from the other room.

"STOP TRYING TO SPOIL IT FOR YOURSELF," She yelled back and he just rolled his eyes.

"You're no fun," He groaned and she shrugged walking back into the room.

"Dinner?"

"Can I eat you for dinner?" He smirked and she just rolled her eyes.

"No, come only has twenty five calories, that is not enough to keep you from still being hungry."

"Then I'll make you come multiple times, it'll add up," He pulled her closer to him, her eyes rolling.

"You are ridiculous," She laughed loudly and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I take pride when you call me a munch," He smirked then kissed her, causing her to let out another laugh.

"Seriously what do you want for dinner," She asked, hopping on the counter.

"I don't know, you pick," He leaned into her chest.

"I wouldn't have asked you, if I knew what I wanted," She smiled, rolling her eyes.

"Well, I don't know either," He laughed, his head between her boobs.

"What do we have here?"

"Nothing," He laughed, sending a shiver through her body.

"Wanna just get pizza delivered?" She let out a quiet laugh.

"Sounds good to me," He finally leaned up, eye level with her.

"You have pretty eyes," She smiled, drowning in the blue.

He gave her a soft smile and opened the Dominos app, ordering the most recent order to the house, knowing that Raven always got the same thing.

"It'll be here in twenty minutes," He kissed her gently and she nodded as her phone started ringing.

"Oh I need to take this, hold on," She hopped down from the counter and he watched her walk off, a smile on his face, "Hi yes this is her."

"What time do you want us to drop the boat off tomorrow Ms. Routledge?" She winced as they called her by her last name but she knew it was just because of the paperwork.

"around 7:00 AM, is that possible?" She asked, trying to get it here before he woke up.

"Yes Ma'am, we will see you tomorrow at 7:00 AM sharp," The man on the other end spoke and she nodded, even though he couldn't see.

"Thank you so much, you have a great evening," She spoke brightly, then hung up the phone, walking back into the kitchen.

"Who was that?" Rafe cocked an eyebrow and she just grinned at him.

"Something for tomorrow, don't worry about it," She grinned, walking over to him, wrapping her arms around him.

He held her close to him, resting his chin on the top of her head.

"You know- You don't need to make a big deal out of tomorrow, it's just another day," He sighed and she shook her head.

"No, it's not just another day, it is your birthday, don't view it as a bad thing," She sighed and he just nodded.

"It's how I was raised, Raven," He mumbled and she nodded.

"I know, it's just a habit you're going to have to unlearn, Rafe," She looked up at him with a smile.

"You have too much faith in me, Raven," He gently kissed her forehead.

"Womp womp," She softly spoke, letting out a laugh.

"Not this shit again," He rolled his eyes.

She just rolled her eyes, pulling away from the embrace.

"The pizza is here," She grinned, noticing before they even knocked on the door.

"How-" He started but then heard the knock, "I swear to God, I hate when you do that," He laughed, answering the door, grabbing the pizzas from the delivery guy.

"I love you too, Rafe," She grinned.
