The morning had come faster than Raven had the night before, the two woke up in each others arms. This was one thing that Raven loved to shock herself with that not even a little over a year ago these two were going at each other's throats and now they were sleeping next to each other in a foreign country that they ran away to together. She quickly slipped out of his arms, walking into the library, quickly sitting on the couch and finding her spot in the journal that she was reading yesterday, that was laying open on the couch. The memories of her and Rafe from last night flooded her brain, causing her to smile to herself, but she quickly focused on reading. She had heard a door open, expecting it to me Rafe coming out of a bathroom or something, but it wasn't him.

"Hey stranger," Sarah's voice sounded from the arch way to the library.

"HOLY SHIT!" Raven screamed running to her, almost causing us to fall with the collision of the hug.

"I'VE MSSED YOU SO MUCH," She squealed, hugging Raven tightly.

"What are you ye- Sarah what're- what are you doing here?" Rafe paused walking down the hallway.

"Dad started to get suspicious on why there was someone at the house, so I had to act like I was here," She looked at him, "Plus I kind of missed you being an asshole around the house I don't know."

"Wait, he knows were here?" Rafe asked a sense of panic running over his body.

"He called and told me someone was in the house and asked if I was there," Sarah pushed her sunglasses up, "So to make it more believable, I came here because you kind of ran off with my best friend."

"She didn't have to come," Rafe shrugged and Raven just gave him a look, causing him to give her a sarcastic smile, "She willingly came, more ways than one."

"GROSS, RAFE," Sarah covered her ears and Raven let out a small laugh, "Anyway. Can I take her for the day, you can go check on your house, yeah?"

"I'll find something to do," he nods, walking down the hallway to the kitchen.

"What's his problem?" Sarah mumbled and Raven just shrugged.

"No idea, he just woke up," Raven sighed and Sarah nodded, "Let me go change really quick then we can go."

"Take your time," She smiled, "Gonna go snoop around my room to see if I can find something better to wear."

"Alright," Raven let out a laugh then walked to the shared bedroom she had with Rafe.

She changed into shorts and a bikini top, just like she would dress in OBX. There wasn't much change in their lifestyle, they still lived in the beach, Raven could still wear what she normally did, but she was safer here.

"Wear a shirt," Rafe came into the room, causing Raven to raise an eyebrow.

"Excuse me?"

"I don't want people looking at you," He crossed his arms and she let out a laugh, then realized he was serious.

"Oh you're not kidding- yeah no, I'm not doing that," She let out a huff and he looked her up and down, "Trust me if they look at me I'll kill them.

"Mhm, well, I'm not gonna argue with you about it," He nodded walking out of the room, but she grabbed his arm.

"There's something wrong," She spoke to him softly and he shook his head no, "Rafe, we promised we wouldn't keep things from each other anymore, what's wrong."

"I don't like that Sarah's here," He mumbled.

"She did it to protect us," I replied, causing something in his head to click.

"You're right," He nodded then kissed her forehead, "Have fun, I know you miss her, I'm sorry."

"I love you," She kissed him quickly, "Still not covering up."

"Give em hell baby," He pushed her out of the room and she laughed.

"Okay, clearly you're fixed now."

She walked down the hall almost colliding with Sarah, causing her to let out a small laugh. The two girls left the house shortly after, Sarah driving them somewhere not too far from the house.

"This beach is gorgeous," Sarah grinned, pulling into a parking spot.

There was hardly anyone at the beach, which was interesting because normally loads and loads of people were at the beach especially in August.

"Why is there like no one here?" Raven asked, shutting the car door.

"Private beach, we rent it to people, but we own it," She gave Raven a smile.

"Interesting," Raven nodded, walking down the dock.

The water was a clear blue, she could actually see the bottom of the water, and it brought her comfort. She hated open water for the fact of not being able to see what's under her. She instantly put her feet in the water, she felt a chill run through her body, the cold water flushing itself on her feet.

"I missed the water," Raven mumbled right as Sarah joined her side.

"Have you not been to the beach since you've been here?" Sarah raised an eyebrow, Raven shaking her head no, "Why not?"

"I've been too wrapped up in those journals of your great grandmothers, they're so entertaining," Raven smiled, then sat in the sand, looking out to the water.

"I've never even looked at those, what have you read so far?"

"Your great grandfather made your great grandmother dance on tables in bars," Raven let out a small laugh, "They were so in love, just the way she wrote about him."

"Raven are you happy?" Sarah blurted out and Raven whipped her head towards her.

"What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean, are you actually happy?"

"I've never been happier, Sarah, I'm actually at peace here, Rafe makes me happy," Raven softly smiled as an image of Rafe appeared in her mind.

"Good," She gave Raven a smile, but there was a hint of sadness in it.

"Sarah, is everything okay?"

"Yeah- I just- miss you- like a lot-" She gave her another small smile, causing Raven to pull Sarah into a hug.

"I miss you too Sare," She sighed as Sarah hugged her back.

"It's weird that you're not around, normally you're practically living at my house and now you ran off with my brother," Sarah let out a laugh.

"It's not your fault I left, you know that right? You didn't do anything, I left for a restart, and for my safety," Raven's smile faded.

She'd hate herself if Sarah ever thought it was her fault, Raven knew that Sarah would often blame herself for things, even if she didn't need to. Raven ran her hands through the sand, then instantly regretting it because of the small grains getting stuck to her fingers. She made a face of disgust, causing Sarah to let out a laugh, making Raven laugh.
