10 years later
Raven walked through the doors of her and Rafes newly bought house in OBX, it was neighboring her brother and Sarah's house or the soon to be Routledge's house. She glanced at the house number sign she had made one night when she couldn't sleep out of some spare wall paint and drift wood.

She saw her husband and their two kids, Freya Ivy and Ryder Enzo -which clearly Raven had picked the names because they were both very unique- were sitting at the kitchen island. Freya was doing homework and Ryder was scribbling in a coloring book. Rafe's attention was drawn from Ryder when he heard footsteps enter the room.
"Hey you," He walked over to his wife kissing her softly, then looking into her eyes, "How was work?"
Raven had opened a bookstore right next to Gina's flower shop, it was the perfect place. Gina's daughter who now owns the flower shop comes in to get books and as a fair trade leaves a flower arrangement for the front desk. Raven got more business than she should she would there but she truly loved her job.
"Good, lots of people today, I think tourist season is starting again soon," She gave Rafe a smile, "Normally does around this time, how was your work."
Rafe now ran his own company, which was his second biggest accomplishment other than Raven. He was able to work from home so he could get Freya off the bus and take Ryder to pre-school three times a week.
"Big meeting today, probably getting another company under our wing which is nice," He returned her smile, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear, "So Ryder's teacher had a small talk with me today."
"Why?" Raven asked, softing through the mail on the counter.
"BECAUSE," Freya interrupted, "He keeps calling people cunts, that's what daddy told aunt Sarah on the phone."
Raven held a piece of mail over her mouth, trying not to laugh, looking back and forth from her nine year old and her four year old. She cleared her throat then looked at Rafe and he had his fist over his mouth.
"And what did you tell the teacher?" She still tried to contain her laughs.
"That we would have a talk with him when you got home," Rafe replied, taking a deep breath.
"Ryder, baby, look at Mommy and stop coloring for a second," She put the envelope down on the island.
He put the crayon down and looked at Raven, a grin on his face, "Yes mommy?"
"You don't say that word, that's an adult word, okay buddy?" She grinned at him and he nodded, then she turned her attention back to Rafe, "There, talk is done."
"Is that why you always say it mommy?" Freya asked and Rafe busted out laughing, leaving the room.
"Yes, Fre, that is why," Raven nodded trying not to laugh, especially because of her husband's outburst, "What's your homework look like?"
"Division, I already did my reading for the week, I started reading a new chapter book," She grinned at Raven.
"That's my girl, I'll have Aunt Sarah pick you up from the bookstore on Saturday, I got some new books in that I think you might like, if they interest you, I'll order them for you so you can bring them home," Raven kissed the top of her daughter's head, "That's a very pretty picture bud," She ruffled her son's hair and he laughed.
"It's for Daddy's office," He grinned, ripping it out of the coloring book.
"Well, I think you should go give it to him, I believe he's in the living room," Raven grinned, watching her toddler run to find Rafe, "You wanna come finish your homework in the living room, daddy can help if you need it, he's better at math than I am," She looked at Freya and her daughter grinned, her blue eyes crinkling just like Rafe's do.
She was a spitting image of him but had the personality of Raven and Ryder was vice versa, he looked exactly like Raven but acted like Rafe, which always made for some fun reports back from his preschool teacher.
"HERE YOU GO DADDY! It's for your desk," Ryder grinned at Rafe and Rafe's smile turned into a grin.
"I LOVE IT! Thank you bud!" He took it and put it right next to him on the coffee table, "I'll go put it in there later, is that alright?"
"Yea!" Ryder's bright green eyes glimmered at Rafe.
Raven had walked over to the cat tree in the living room and pet the two cats laying together on the top of it, "Where's Hades?" Raven glanced around the room as Posidon jumped on her shoulder.
"I have no idea, he was lying with Zeus earlier, but I haven't seen him since," Rafe responded, letting the dog in.
"He's in Ryder's room," Freya butted in, not looking up from her homework, "Daddy I need help."
He sat down next to his daughter, helping her with her math homework, the dog pushing her way into Rafe's lap.
"Lilac," Ryder laughed at the dog, pulling a puzzle out of the TV center.
"Before you play with the puzzle, I want you to go clean up the crayons in the kitchen," Raven smiled at him and he took off running to go clean up, "THANK YOU!"
She sat there, then saw Rafe staring at her, causing her to raise an eyebrow.
"Nothing, you just look pretty," He gave her a smile and she blushed, "I don't have any meetings tomorrow so I can help you do inventory while Ryder is at school."
"I'd appreciate that, it would also give us some alone time away from the crotch goblins, even though we will all day Saturday because my brother and your sister are taking them," Raven let out a soft laugh.
"Okay cool," He smiled at her.
A few hours later after both of the kids went to bed, both of them walked into their bedroom, Raven falling onto the bed.
"Who told us to have two of those?" Raven asked.
"Pretty sure you did," Rafe let out a small laugh.
"Oh right," Raven grinned, "And I wouldn't trade them for the fucking world, they're amazing."
"You're very right," Rafe kissed her forehead.
"Did Ryder really say cunt at fucking pre-school?" She let out a laugh, Rafe laughing with her.
"Yeah, that's all you right there, but no you're the one who said we didn't need to watch what we say around them."
"I mean we still don't we just tell him he can't say those words- He is gonna hear them eventually, so I mean really- there's no harm-" Raven laughed.
"You're right," Rafe smiled, laying next to Raven.
"I know, she grinned, sitting up, then looking at him.
"I love you," He kissed her and she instantly kissed back.
"I love you more," She grinned and he tackled her to the bed, causing her to let out a yell while laughing.
