"I don't deserve it," He had sad eyes, ones that even though she was still mad at him, made her crumble.

"In all honesty Rafe, I don't deserve yours, we both know that I'm a mess," She looked at him and he just stared.

"Raven, you are not a mess, you're perfect, to me you are the most perfect human being I have ever laid my eyes on," He moved closer to her and she closed the gap between them.

Their kiss was passionate but hungry, they had been needing each other more than ever. Mentally and physically they were both deprived of each other to the point they didn't care where they were they just needed each other. Raven had pulled away, knowing if she hadn't stopped than it would go further.

"I'm sorry-" Raven sighed and Rafe shook his head.

"Don't apologize to me, you don't need to apologize for anything," He nodded and she gave him a small smile.

"Thank you for not making me jump back into things."

"You'd be dumb if you did," Rafe let out a small laugh, his arms around her.

Raven had smiled at him, then pulled away from the hug. She looked in his eyes then cleared her throat, looking down at the ground.

"I think I should go back," She mumbled and he nodded.

"Of course, Rave, anything you want," He smiled at her and nodded, standing up reaching his hand out to her.

"Thank you," She gently took it and he pulled her up, a small smile formed on her lips as she walked back to the dirt bike.

Rafe hadn't said another word the entire drive back to the Chateau, but Raven didn't blame him, it would be too loud with the wind. The second they pulled up in the driveway, everyone's heads turned towards them, and Raven got off the bike.

"I'm glad you let me take you out today," Rafe tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear, "I will work hard to get you back."

"I know you will," Raven let out a small laugh and he gently squeezed her hand.

"I'll see you later, alright?" He gave her a smile and she nodded.

"I'll text you, I promise," She smiled at him once more and walked over to the Pogues, fighting every urge to look back.

She heard the dirt bike speed off, let out a small sigh then rubbing her head.

"You okay?" John B looked at her and she just nodded.

"Yeah," She sighed then walked into the house, realizing Pope was following her.

"Hey so- I know we never were on a bad note but I still wanna say sorry for being a dick to you, I only did it because-" Pope started talking and Raven just let out a small laugh.

"Don't worry Pope, it's alright, it wasn't just you guys being mean to me, I was mean right back," Raven gave him a smile, "Its behind us though now, alright?" She gently placed a hand on his shoulder and he smiled.

"Yeah you're right, cool, come out and hang with us, only if you want."

She just gave him a nod and walked into her room, flopping on her bed. She let out a sigh as she laid there for a minute, then looked at the date.

"Shit," She mumbled to herself, then turned her phone over.

Tomorrow was her birthday. The one day that she fucking hated more than anything in the world. She didn't hate it for any other reason than it reminded her that she existed. She never liked her birthday, but she would put on a face. She was always grateful for anything that was done for her on thet day, any time that there was a birthday party for her she was beyond grateful, but she still hated the day. She laid there in silence, slowly falling asleep, a small sigh leaving her lips as she drifted off.

"Get her back yet?" Barry had walked through his front door, seeing Rafe sitting on his couch.

"Do you really think I'd be here still if I had gotten her back?"

"Would like to think you would say bye before you dip," Barry rolled his eyes, "You didn't the first time though so whatever."

"In my defense I didn't know I was leaving then," Rafe protested and Barry laughed.

"Ain't no way that you're that pussy whipped by her," Barry let out a loud laugh and Rafe rolled her eyes.

"It's not just like that with her, she's the reason I live everyday," Rafe sighed, taking a long drag from the blunt.

"Shit you weren't kidding when you said you was in love with her, were you country club?" He raised an eyebrow and Rafe shook his head no.

"Her birthday is tomorrow, I'm trying to figure out what to do for her, because we're in such a rough spot," He sighed.

"Shit I'm not good with this shit, uhm, get her something like meaningful, I don't fucking know," Barry let out a laugh and Rafe slowly nodded.

"You're right, I'll be- I'll be back-" Rafe got up quickly and walked out to the dirt bike.

He had driven to the port as fast as the bike would take him, he knew there was at least something small he could do. He quickly walked to Gina's flower shop and saw all of the roses out front.

"Rafe?" Gina walked out from the back and he gave her a small smile, "I thought it was you, youre back?"

"Not for long, Raven and I are here visiting her brother for her birthday tomorrow," He gave the old woman a nod, he didn't want to tell her the truth for the rough sake she'd mention something to someone else.

"How is the angel?"

"She is good," He gently smiled, slowly picking through the different shades of pink roses, "Do you have the ability to have someone deliver these to her tomorrow?"

"Of course I do," She nodded, sitting down at the cash register.

"I'm gonna be getting 60 roses," He smiled and picked out a few different ones to put in a bundle.

"30 dollars" Gina smiled at him and he raised an eyebrow.

"That doesn't seem right," He gave her a look and she sighed.

"Rafael, it is my store, I can tell you whatever price I want," The old woman huffed and he just let out a small laugh.

"Alright, well, keep the change then, for the delivery fee," He put a one hundred dollar bill on the counter and walked out of the flower shop, then got back on the dirt bike, heading back to Barry's.
