hi! here are some cool things about this fic you (probably) dont know yet

- imp 1 / blaza / girl imposter is named evie
- imp 2 / laff / boy imposter is named liam

and also i have their designs but when i try to import them they crash, so ill post em on my tiktok @14yearoldvamp if somebody reminds me. there was also originally supposed to be a photo of the note muffin found but it wouldnt import either.

the aliens' motive is also something never said outright. they work for a program called H.I.T.O., also known as "human invasion takedown operation." theyre angry that earth keeps sending ships to explore/invade their galaxy so they send teams to ships to do exactly what the imposters do - kill everybody on the ship - in hopes that earth will take the hint and quit sending ships.

prologue is blaza death scene, and evie had a controller for the doors which she got from blaza. liam didn't have one because laff lost his. evie knew liam needed extra help since he was being trained in, so she gave him the controller. but when liam was found out, he made sure to drop the controller so evie could have it back.

tbh unknowingly heard blaza and laff's deaths happening. mostly blaza's. tbh died never knowing that what he heard that night was his friend dying

in laff's death scene, here were your hints it was laff:
"I couldn't see the face it made, but it froze, so I assumed it was shocked." mask
" I don't think the human saw me in the dark. Do I really blend in that well? Maybe it's blind." hard to see bc of mask
"plunged the sharp end through the human's stomach. It didn't go in cleanly, due to the human's clothing, but it stabbed in after a good push." i always imagine him with a big rubber gas man suit thing 😭

another hint u prolly missed:
' "I can also vouch for Laff. I saw him in his bed, like, twice last night." Blaza said. "Were you watchin' me sleep, Blaza?" Laff asked, turning to Blaza. Was he joking? I couldn't tell.Blaza and Laff stared at eachother for a few seconds."

blaza watched the imposter disguised as him kill socks, his best friend. chapter 6

chapter 6, liam quote: " Well... I better go out with a bang, right?" foreshadowing how he stopped caring about staying hidden n just started stabbing

more laff and blaza vouching for eachother: " "I was with Laff in the hallway above comms," Blaza said, "and then we went into storage and did tasks."  "I can confirm, of course," Laff added."

in this scene: " It made eye contact with us, then looked behind us and nodded. As the airlock door shut, the alien smiled." that's liam making eye contact with the humans, then evie, and nodding in a sort of encouraging gesture, like hes saying "you can do this" and smiling

as i reread i realized that i originally wrote everyone sleeping in the same big room, but later changed it to separate shared rooms.

"A disgusting feeling pulled at my heart and arms..." and the following paragraph was tbh and dino as ghosts trying to pull nadwe away to try and save him.

evie is incredibly cringe. shes done this so many times she was so full of herself and is an edgelord

and that is all folks ! i hope you enjoyed this fic as much as i did. writing this helped me cope and distracted me from all the shit im dealing with right now. it means a lot to me.

there will probably be a long while before i start putting out my smp rewrite, i might not even get to it. we'll see
