No one quite knows loneliness like an orphaned child, having been robbed of a life that could be so beautiful, influential to how one grows up, for who they become. Even in the presence of others, that loneliness still pulls at them, because who are you if you don't not know those that made you?
Half of two people, their image. But they are more than just a resemblance; they are a collection of traits and behaviours that were never passed down, leaving them to navigate the world without the guidance of those who brought them into it.
These twins, specifically, are as close as siblings could be. Their bond, however, was born out of necessity and understanding of each other; mourning those you don't know.
With only each other to lean on, they found solace in their shared grief and became each other's people in a world that was so unfair to them.
