Once again, Valentino was throwing a fit. Shouts were heard from all across the Vee tower and things were thrown across the room left and right.

"Val, please, can't you just tell me what's wrong?" Velvette begged, dodging projectiles left and right.

"How could you not know what's wrong? Ever since Vox quit on me, business has been awful! He joined that fucking hotel-"

"Wait, like Charlie's hotel?"

"What other hotel would I be talking about? It has completely destroyed our reputation. He was the powerful one, you know."

"Well, no shit. How can he stand staying there with Alastor? That's his ex! Honestly, if I had to stay anywhere with one of my exes, I would-"

Valentino grabbed Velvette's face and slapped it with all his might. "No one cares. As I was saying, he joined that fucking hotel, and ever since the media has had a genuine interest in it. You know, he's the one that drew in the most money because of all his mind-controlling powers. We haven't got any of that now. Our abilities only work when someone's in the room with us, but he can broadcast his and it gets anyone to do what he wants. I've seen his face pop up in several ads for the place and they've gotten so many views. I don't think anyone else of that much power joined the place since then, but still, I'm pissed."

Velvette watched as her co-worker raged before her. She nodded along, trying to care about what he was saying so he wouldn't punish her, as facing his wrath isn't something anyone wants to do.

"And if that's not enough, my apartment complex just got blown up! I've got, like, hundreds of homeless sluts under my control now! AGH!!! It's going to cost an ass-ton of money to get that place back up!" At this, Valentino got an idea. "Velvette, dearest, can you do something for me?"

"Sure." Valentino raised an eyebrow at her, and she knew that meant he wanted a more genuine response. They'd been spending way too much time together for Vel's taste ever since Vox left. "Of course, whatever you want."

"I need you to figure out who the fuck blew up my apartment complex."

She was relieved that it wasn't anything too hard. She just had to check the security cameras to figure out who it was. "Alright, I'm on it."

At this, she left her abusive co-worker to rage by himself and made her way to the security control room. Vox had taught her how to operate the place a while back, and though she didn't care much at the time, she was grateful he did.

Vel took the tape that showed the history of Valeninto's super-ghetto apartment complex and re-winded it a bit. She stared intensely at the screen and watched as a tiny, pixellated figure threw something at the building. A few minutes later, it went up in a red-hot cloud of smoke. "Got it," she muttered to herself, zooming in on the figure. Upon closer inspection, it was a pink-haired punk girl with a single red X-eye. The girl was familiar, but where had she seen her?

As she pondered at the screen before her, Velvette realized exactly where she had seen this familiar face. This girl had picked up Angel Dust from the studio many, many times before. What was her name? Oh, yeah- Cherri Bomb. Velvette grinned evilly, knowing that this chick with god-awful style was about to get it.

"Oh, Valentino!" she called out, excitedly.

"Did you figure it out?" he responded, seemingly having calmed down quite a bit.

"Yup, and I know exactly how you can get your revenge on this bitch!"

"Oh yeah?" Velvette walked up to him and whispered her plan into his ear. "Oh, I like your thinking, darling."
