One such corporation, Genetech Industries, launched a secret project named Project Genesis. Their aim was to create super-soldiers by combining human DNA with that of resilient creatures from deep-sea organisms to extraterrestrial microbes.
Project Genesis began with high hopes. Scientists conducted experiments in a remote, underground facility to avoid detection.
