Heeseung & Aiko
The next morning, the sunlight streamed into the makeshift training room, casting a warm glow over the space. Aiko stood in the center, stretching her muscles as she prepared for another intense training session with Heeseung. She knew she needed to get better, to become someone who could protect herself and contribute more to the group. But she also knew that Heeseung's training sessions were no joke.
Heeseung walked in, a towel draped over his shoulder and a look of determination on his face. "Alright, let's get this shit started," he said, tossing the towel aside. "You ready, Aiko?"
Aiko nodded, trying to ignore the flutter in her stomach every time he looked at her. "Yeah, let's do this."
Heeseung stepped closer, his presence intimidating yet strangely comforting. "First, we're going to work on your self-defense. You need to know how to get out of a tough situation, how to fight back if you're cornered."
He moved behind her, his hands resting lightly on her shoulders. "Relax your body. You need to be flexible, ready to move in any direction."
Aiko felt her heart race as he stood so close. She could feel the heat of his body, the strength in his touch. "I am relaxed," she muttered, trying to keep her voice steady.
"Like hell you are," Heeseung replied, his breath warm against her ear. "Stop tensing up. It's not going to help you if you're stiff as a board."
Aiko took a deep breath, trying to loosen her muscles. "Fine, fine. Just show me what to do."
Heeseung's hands moved to her wrists, lifting them up. "Alright, if someone grabs you, you need to know how to break free. Like this."
He demonstrated the move, twisting her wrist in a way that felt both painful and effective. Aiko winced, but followed his lead. "Got it."
They practiced the move several times, Heeseung correcting her form and making sure she executed it perfectly. Each time he touched her, she felt a jolt of electricity, a reminder of how close they were.
"Alright, now let's work on your stance," Heeseung said, stepping back. "You need to be ready to move, to dodge, to strike."
Aiko squared her shoulders, trying to mimic his posture. "Like this?"
Heeseung sighed, shaking his head. "No, you're still too stiff. Here, let me show you."
He moved behind her again, his hands on her hips this time. "Loosen up. Bend your knees a little. You need to be grounded but flexible."
Aiko tried to follow his instructions, feeling the heat of his hands through her clothes. "Is this better?"
"Yeah, that's better," Heeseung said, his voice softer now. "But you still need to relax more. You're too uptight."
Aiko rolled her eyes. "Well, maybe if you weren't such an asshole, I could relax more."
Heeseung chuckled, the sound vibrating through her. "Maybe if you weren't so stubborn, I wouldn't have to be."
They bickered back and forth as they continued to train, the tension between them both frustrating and exhilarating. Heeseung was tough on her, pushing her to do better, to be better. But he also showed a softer side, a side that genuinely cared about her progress.
After an hour of self-defense training, they moved on to shooting practice. Heeseung handed her a gun, his expression serious. "Alright, let's see how your aim is."
Aiko took the gun, feeling its weight in her hands. "I've never been great at this," she admitted.
"Well, that's why I'm here," Heeseung said, stepping behind her. "We're going to fix that."
He positioned her hands on the gun, his chest pressing against her back as he adjusted her grip. "You need to hold it steady. Don't let it waver."
Aiko felt her breath hitch as he guided her movements, his body so close to hers. "Like this?"
"Yeah, just like that," Heeseung replied, his voice a low rumble. "Now, aim down the sights. Focus on your target."
She tried to concentrate, but it was hard with Heeseung so close, his hands on hers, his breath on her neck. She pulled the trigger, but the shot went wide.
"Damn it," she muttered.
Heeseung sighed, but there was a hint of a smile in his voice. "You're not focusing. Here, let me help you."
He adjusted her stance, his arms around her, guiding her every movement. "Take a deep breath. Hold it steady. Now, squeeze the trigger slowly."
Aiko did as he instructed, and this time, the shot hit closer to the target. She felt a surge of pride, mixed with the undeniable awareness of Heeseung's presence.
"Better," he said, his voice warm. "But you need to keep practicing."
They continued shooting, Heeseung helping her adjust her aim, her stance, her grip. Each time he corrected her, she felt a mix of frustration and gratitude. He was tough, but he was also patient, pushing her to improve.
"You're getting better," Heeseung said after a while, his tone approving. "Just keep practicing."
Aiko nodded, feeling a sense of accomplishment. "Thanks, Heeseung. I appreciate your help."
Heeseung's expression softened. "You're welcome. Just... try not to get yourself killed, alright?"
Aiko smiled, feeling a warmth in her chest. "I'll do my best."
As they wrapped up their training session, Aiko felt a newfound sense of confidence. She knew she still had a lot to learn, but with Heeseung's guidance, she felt ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. They stood there for a moment, the tension between them palpable, both of them aware of the growing connection.
Heeseung broke the silence, his voice softer than usual. "You did good today, Aiko. Keep it up."
Aiko looked up at him, her heart racing. "Thanks, Heeseung. For everything."
Heeseung nodded, his eyes lingering on her for a moment before he turned to leave. "Get some rest. We've got a lot more work to do."
As Aiko watched him walk away, she felt a mixture of emotions. She knew their journey was far from over, but for the first time, she felt truly hopeful. With Heeseung by her side, she knew they could face anything.
