Heeseung & Aiko
A few days had passed by. Aiko and Heeseung were practicing their hand-to-hand combat skills, with Heeseung teaching Aiko how to punch and kick effectively. The training sessions were filled with mindless bickering, which made Aiko feel a strange sense of belonging. She had found her place among them.
Later in the day, the group gathered in Heeseung's office to discuss the plan they had been meticulously crafting. The room was cramped, the air heavy with anticipation.
Heeseung started, his voice steady and authoritative. "This is all gonna take place at the shed near the lake. Sunoo, you need to cut your hand as bait to lure the Neomorph."
Sunoo nodded, his face a mix of determination and unease. "Got it."
Heeseung turned to Yuna. "Yuna, you?"
Yuna replied confidently, "I'll reaserch the blood one you come back. ."
Heeseung nodded approvingly. "Ni-ki?"
Ni-ki responded promptly, "Jay, Jake, and I will stand outside the shed to make sure we're protected."
Heeseung continued, outlining his own position. "Sunghoon, and I will be inside with the Neomorph. We'll tranquilize it."
Sunghoon added to the next part. "I'll take its blood so we can take it back to base."
Everyone nodded, agreeing to the plan. The operation would take place tomorrow morning. The group discussed the finer details, ensuring everyone knew their roles perfectly. Over the past few days, the group had formed a good friendship with Aiko, except for Heeseung, who felt guilty about keeping her in the dark about their mission.
As they discussed, they debated whether Aiko should join them. "The more the merrier," one of them argued.
Heeseung shook his head firmly. "No. I don't like her, nor do I trust her. If she has a connection to Genetech Industries, this all could be her fault. It's too risky, you guys." He stormed out of his office, saying, "We head out tomorrow morning."
What Heeseung didn't know was that Aiko had been standing right outside his office door. She heard the "we leave tomorrow morning" part and felt a surge of anger. She inquired with her new friends about what was happening, each of them nervously avoiding eye contact, reluctant to say anything.
Fuming, Aiko burst into Heeseung's office while he was writing on some papers. He quickly tried to hide them as she shouted, "What the fuck, Heeseung? I thought I was part of this now! I know how to defend myself. I can help!"
Heeseung glared at her, his anger rising. "You don't know jackshit about this place! I'm running it, and I know what I'm doing!"
Aiko's eyes blazed with fury. "You're a fucking coward, you know that? You're not a good leader! You're just a scared little boy trying to play boss!"
