Heeseung

The ear-splitting alarm jolted Heeseung awake. The red emergency lights strobed through the dimly lit room, casting flickering shadows on the walls. Disoriented, he sat up, his heart already hammering in his chest.

"What the hell is that?" Jake groaned, rubbing his eyes as the others began stirring.

"It's the alarm," Jungwon said, his voice laced with urgency. "Something's wrong. Really wrong."

Heeseung was already on his feet, his mind racing. His sharp eyes darted to Aiko's bed. Empty. His stomach dropped.

"She's not here," he muttered, pulling on his boots in record time.

"What?" Yuna asked, panicked, as she scrambled to stand.

"Aiko," Heeseung said louder this time, his voice cutting through the chaos. "She's not here."

Jake, still groggy, ran a hand through his hair. "Where the hell would she go in the middle of the night?"

Heeseung didn't need to guess. He knew exactly where she was. The lab. She was relentless about her research, even at night.

"Shit," he hissed under his breath, already moving toward the door.

"What do we do?" Sunghoon asked, his tone tense but calm.

Heeseung turned back, his expression firm. "We need to grab our stuff and get to Aiko. Now."

"But..." Yuna hesitated, looking out the small window in the door where chaos unfolded in the hallway. Scientists and personnel were running in every direction, shouting over each other. "Where's the bunker? Isn't that where we're supposed to go?"

"We don't know where the damn bunker is!" Jake snapped, his frustration clear as he threw on his jacket.

"Even if we did, we're not going there without Aiko," Heeseung said firmly, his voice sharp with resolve.

"She might already be heading there," Jungwon pointed out.

"No," Heeseung said quickly, shaking his head. "She wouldn't leave without us. She's in the lab. I know it."

"What about weapons?" Sunghoon asked, his voice steady but grim. "We don't have anything."

Heeseung paused, his jaw tightening. He hadn't thought that far ahead. All their weapons had been confiscated when they entered the facility. They were defenseless.

"We get to the armory first," he said finally. "It's on the way to the lab. We'll grab whatever we can, then get Aiko and figure it out from there."

"What if it's too late?" Yuna whispered, her voice trembling.

Heeseung's gaze snapped to her, his voice unwavering. "It won't be."

Jake nodded, grabbing his bag and slinging it over his shoulder. "Then let's move before we run out of time."
