Spiders, Spinners, Symbiotes (NewJeans, ILLIT, IVE)

1: Lizards n' Parties

a/n: i posted about this on my conversations tab on my profile, but yesterday i stayed awake for 30+ hours to finish the story and i have every single chapter written. i'm really proud of how it turned out.

so, should i stick with posting a chapter every two days, or just post one chapter a day since i have them all done already?

haerin and danielle swung after the giant lizard creature. the thing was more like a dinosaur. it had huge spikes on its back, and thick, scaly skin.

because the thing was so huge, it ran slowly, so they were able to catch up.

"D- SILK! DO YOU HAVE A PLAN?" haerin screamed.

"NOT REALLY!" danielle got in close enough to shot a web at the lizard, pulling herself onto its back. she cut herself on one of the spikes, and quickly covered the wound with a web. she tried punching the lizard, but its skin was as thick and tough as steel. she hopped off its back, and started swinging with haerin again. "DEFINITELY NOT!"

"WE GOTTA THINK OF SOMETHING! HES DESTROYING EVERYTHING!" haerin yelled. the lizard was running on top of cars, through buildings and trees, and even cracking the road and sidewalks with how heavy he was.

danielle thought silently, trying to trigger her silk sense. nothing came up. "MY SILK SENSE ISNT DOING ANYTHING!"

a lightbulb lit up inside of haerins head. "SILK! LAND ON TOP OF THAT BUILDING!" haerin screamed, pointing at a building pretty far in the distance. "WHEN I LAND ON HIM, SHOOT WEBS AT ME!"

"GOT IT! GOOD LUCK, BABE!" danielle yelled.

haerin shot two webs at the lizards back, pulling herself in. she almost impaled herself on the spikes on his back, but she narrowly avoided it.

she crawled all over his body like an actual spider, covering his body in webs, restricting his movements.

in the meantime, danielle shot web after web at haerin. haerin caught the webs and stuck them to the lizard. danielle pulled on the webs she fired, slowing down the lizard, and effectively stopping him from moving.

haerin jumped off the lizard, and webbed up his legs and arms. the lizard was now essentially tied to the building.

"who do you work for?" haerin asked the lizard.

the lizard responded with a growl.

"what happened to you?" haerin asked.

the lizard responded with a snarl.

"can you talk at all?" haerin then asked, getting a bit frustrated.

the lizard didn't respond to that one.

a police siren was heard next to her. she turned around. it was a van, barely big enough to hold the lizard.

"hello spider-girl. nice to see you again." the officer sitting in the passenger seat of the van said.

"captain bahng! good to see you as well!"

"thank you for catching this big guy. no shot we could've done this without you. now, we'll take it from here." the captain said.

"all in a days work, sir. have a good one, captain!" haerin said before swinging off to the top of the building. danielle was waiting for her.

the two girls discreetly swung back over to the building they left their clothes on. they got dressed again, and climbed down the side of the building.

"good job, dani." haerin said under her breath.

"oh please. if not for you, i would still be fighting that thing." danielle started. "what even was it?"
